Epilogue

Araya quivered. Ethan said no. Oh, God. Tears started to cloud her vision. Gusto niyang tumakbo at nagtago at umiyak. Is this how the word karma works? Sobrang sakit. Agad niyang isinara ang hawak na box at tumalikod.

Ngunit bago pa man siya makagalaw ay narinig niya ang pagpitik ng kamay ni Ethan.

Another fireworks started to light the night sky. Araya gasped. Napaharap siya sa dagat at pinanuod ang makukulay na paputok na lumipad at magpasabog ng matitingkad na kulay sa kalangitan. Napatingin siya kay Ethan, he was watching her intently.

Another fireworks flew. Napatingin si Araya sa kalangitan. When it reach its peak, it exploded in to hundreds of red and white lights. Another one exploded not just once, but into a series of explosion becoming smaller and smaller each time.

Ilang saglit pa ay may kung ano ang umilaw sa ibaba. Napatingin siya roon. A fountain lit the dark surrounding, then another fireworks launched into the sky and exploding inyo something she did not expect. Napasinghap si Araya. Hindi niya alam kung saan unang titingin.

"Look at me." Napabaling siya kay Ethan. Muli ay napasinghap siya. Ethan was kneeling in front of her! Napahawak siya sa bibig. A spotlight from somewhere was directed to them. Noon ay naagaw nila ang atensyon ng lahat.

She looked back at beach and blink her eyes repeatedly. Marry Me. Said the lights. Her eyes watered and looked at the man in front of her. He was kneeling, looking at her with those big blue eyes glittering against the colourful lights. "Oh, Love." She whispered and kneel with him to hug him.

"Oh, Love I will always always say yes." She cried hugging him so tight he might have had a hard time breathing.

Naramdaman niya ang bisig nitong ikinulong siya sa mainit na yakap. He held the back of her head and kissed her neck every so sweetly, oblivious to the people watching.

"You are my heaven on earth, kitten. You and the kids. You change me into a better person. You gave me life I will never ever deserve." Inilayo niya ang babae sa katawan. Kneeling in front of each other, he reached for the box and opened it.

"Now, please give me the chance to have you in my life as a wife. I want to own you in every possible way. I want to love you even more, give you the whole world." Ethan took the ring out of the box.

"Araya, ang mundo ko ay iyo. Ang puso ko ay iyo. Handa akong maghintay hanggang sa oras na handa ka na ulit para sa atin. I love you, my kitten. You are my only love. Mahal na mahal kita. Higit sa ano pa man." Aray choked. How long did he practice those lines? Her leap when she heard him say "mahal na mahal kita", iba ang dating sa nakasanayan nila "I love you."

Ethan breath in, reached for Araya's bangs and brushed it away from her face. Araya smiled and held his hand. She brought it to her lips and kiss it. "Mahal na mahal din kita, Ethan. Higit sa ano pa man."

Yumuko si Ethan at inilapit kay Araya ang singsing. "Araya Smith, will you marry me?" He said. Again. He will never get tired of asking until she said yes.

Inilahad sa kanya ni Araya ang kamay. "The honor is mine, my love." She cried. "Yes, I will!" With shaking hands, Ethan slipped the ring on her finger and kissed it.

Before he could pull her and kiss her, she pulled back. Pinulot nito ang kaninang hawak na box. She opened it again and smiled at him. "Give me your hand, love." And he did. She slipped the ring in his finger and stared at it for a moment.
