"I hope you know that your boyfriend is fucking me behind your back" Bella screamed and opened the car door.
"So, who's your lady friend?" Faye asked wiggling her eyebrows Bella slammed the car door shut.
"It's a bit odd" I said driving away from her house. I looked at Faye and she raised her eyebrows waiting on an answer. "Her name's Bella. I met her last week when I was out with friends and she came home with me but we're not dating just,"
"Having sex" Faye finished for me and I knew that my cheeks had turned red. I wasn't proud of it but I wasn't looking for a relationship. No one could match up to Faye.
"I know I shouldn't but I don't want a relationship with her. The only problem is that she wants a relationship with me" I said.
"Damn. Sounds shit" Faye laughed.
I knew I had to tell her I was just embarrassed,
"There's something else," oh god. "I may or may not have told her that you're my girlfriend"
"Thomas" Faye groaned and I knew it was a childish thing to do to get me out of a situation.
"I'm sorry I panicked. I really don't want to date her Faye"

I couldn't believe the lie I was telling her. I never lie to her but I couldn't tell her the truth. I wanted to date Bella but I just couldn't. All I found myself doing was comparing her to Faye and that's not fair to her.
I had to tell Faye how I felt. I had to. But before I could build up the courage we had arrived back home and Mum was already waiting on the steps to welcome Faye in.
Faye ran out of the car and into Mums arms before I could even mention it to her. I shut off the car and followed the women inside.
They were talking about everything and anything they could. But every now and then I would have an input.
"I'm just going to the loo" Faye said smiling and walking out of the room. I smiled as she left but Mum was staring so harshly I couldn't help but turn to her.
"You still like her, Thomas I told you that if you dated it would be hard to see anyone the same" Mum sighed putting a kind hand on my leg.
"I can't help it she's just everything that I want."
"I know honey and I've always said that she was perfect. What are you going to do?" Mum asked and I couldn't think of what to tell her or how to answer.
"It would of worked out fine if you and dad hadn't made me move" I said feeling the anger about moving Come again.
"Thomas you knew why we had to. Don't blame your relationship problems on me and your father that's not fair" Mum argued but still I felt angry.
"No. What's not fair is making me leave my life back in the U.K. when I wanted nothing more than to stay" I finished before walking out of the room and out into the garden.

"Hey" I heard Faye sigh from behind me and I turned my head trying to give her a genuine smile. "Is there something you want to talk to me about?" Faye asked and I groaned.
"Did you overhear?"
"No, your mum just said that you had something to talk to me about" Faye laughed and I nodded.
I had to tell her the truth. No matter how hard it was.
"We were just talking about relationships and how I haven't found a girlfriend" I said shrugging as she sat beside me on the grass.
"That's fine? What's wrong with not having a girlfriend?" Faye inquired and I knew I had to tell her.
"It's not about it being wrong. It's the reason why I haven't which is wrong" I said and Faye said nothing. Just raised her eyebrows as usual. "Every girl that I try and date, I always end up comparing her to you. And it's not fair for her. But I can't stop myself. I miss you Faye I really do and we ended things all because I moved. If I didn't move things would be fine"
I couldn't look at Faye. I was sad but also embarrassed.

"Thomas I miss you too. So much all the time. And yes sometimes I do miss what we had in the relationship especially now with this whole Shawn situation but I love him. I promised to stick by him. But I don't want this to be awkward between us now" Faye said linking our fingers together.
"I can't stop it though. It happens whenever I try to get a girl or not, I do it without thinking about it"
"Thomas. There's going to be a really really lovely girl for you and when there is you just have to go for it. Even if you don't last. You might realise that as a girlfriend she's better than me" Faye laughed and I shrugged.
"She'd have to be bloody brilliant to be better than you"
"Just try. Now I think we should go to bed because I have to be back at Olman's house for ten tomorrow" Faye told me and I nodded as I took her hand helping her up.

"Night Thomas" Faye whispered kissing my cheek before climbing into bed next to me.
"I love you" She finished and I sighed wrapping an arm around her.
"I love you too Dawson" I yawned.
She was right. I had to just move on. Stop being stupid and move on with my relationships. She loved Shawn and as long as she and him are happy then I try to be happy as well.

"You're the man that's got the cute girl working your case?" I heard as I rested my head in my hands, sat at a lunch table.
I turned just as an older man sat down at the empty table I was on. His black hair had started to grey yet his deep green eyes were intimidating like his broad frame.
"Yeah she's my girlfriend" I replied sitting up a bit.
"James" he said holding out his hand for me to shake "How old is she?"
"Eighteen"
"Young. Do you not think that she's going to get crushed and not be able to help you? You're really just lying all of this work onto her and expecting her to do it all?" He said and I shook my head trying to not think about what would happen if she couldn't do it.
"She will be able to do it I know she will. She's as stubborn as fuck she won't leave until she gets a result that she wants" I said determined that Faye would do it.
"I wouldn't believe in her that much mate. Trust me there's only so much family and friends can do. I'd invest in a lawyer"  James said and I couldn't help but frown at his suggestion.
"No. No she'll do it"
"Mate you need professional help. I have the number of my lawyer if you want it?" I nodded slowly and he pulled out a pen and discreetly wrote the number down. "Her names Cam, well Camila and she's helping me out. She's worth it" James said slipping me the piece of paper and walking away.

After that encounter I quickly walked to the phone and dialled Faye's number.
"Hey I know it's probably an odd time for you but I have to talk to you about something" I said quickly as she answered.
"Hello to you too"
"Hey so I've been talking to someone in here and he's given me the number of a really good lawyer who is certain to help me get out of here quickly" I said smiling.
"Are you fucking kidding me Shawn. Are you serious. I'm about to walk into a meeting to save your ass and what? You're hiring a lawyer? Then what the hell am I doing"  Faye said and immediately I knew I shouldn't of done this.
"No no she'll just be extra help to guarantee that I'm getting out"
"I can't believe you don't believe I can do it. Shawn I'm going to do this. Don't get the lawyer we can do this without them" She said and I heard a boys voice in the background. "Yeah I'm coming. Shawn I have to go. Don't do anything stupid" She said before hanging up the call.

I stood by the phone for a good five minutes contemplating what to do. If I went against Faye she'd hate me, but if I got a lawyer then I'm guaranteed to be out of here quickly.
I pulled out the piece of paper and typed in the number.
"Hello Camila here"
Faye's going to absolutely hate me.
