A Year with IM5

Chapter 2

Elizabeth's POV
I was sitting on my bed listening to music when I got a text from Dana

Pooh Bear:
Hey piglet our new video is on YouTube.

I immediately opened up YouTube and watched it. They. put. Cole. in. a. suit. He looks so hot, not that the rest of them don't but Cole stands out. As soon as I get done with the music video there is a knock on the door thinking it is Katherine I open up the door but there, standing on my porch was my Pooh Bear. It took me a while to notice the rest of the band there too but, when my eyes met Coles they locked. I didn't even notice my mom walked up until I heard her talking about my obsession then I blushed. I let them in after Dana told me it was raining, that only made me blush even more. we sit on the couch and talk about how they are staying for a whole year. I am so excited. I tell them to get their stuff and bring it to my room. When I walked up to my room I realized it was a mess. It was that time of the year, Finals. I was not ready for them this year. I tried cleaning it up before they got up here but, too late. As soon as Cole sees me struggling to pick everything up he joins in and picks up all he can. Then the rest of the boys join in.
"Do we need to find something else to do so you can study," Will asks.
"If you don't mind that would be perfect." Normally I would've shook it off but my history exam was tomorrow and history is my worst subject.
The guys go to the music room and I start studying. I hear Katherine's car and text her to tell her to come on in. She helps me pass history while I help her pass science. She comes up and the first thing she asks is if I have heard from Dana then my phone goes off with his special ringtone.

Pooh Bear:
Do NOT tell Katherine we are here please.

Me:
Sure but you owe me one

Pooh Bear:
Yes I do ;)

"Awww man he just told me he can't stop by because they are too busy for the show>"
"I'm sorry. Maybe another time," she replies and we start studying.
Next thing I know it is lunchtime and Katherine has to leave.
"If you have any questions call me," she says then leaves.
I dial her number and call her. "Hey what are the answers for number 1-50," I mess with her.
"Oh shut up." she hangs up.
I am feeling good about history so I move to math. I get every problem right except the word problems. I go downstairs and ask the boys if any of them are good at math. Surprisingly only Cole is. Crap I think to myself. I'm not going to learn a thing.
We go up to my room and he takes my sheet of paper with answers and my study guide and looks it over.
"Well the only ones you got wrong are the word problems and I see where you messed up," he says looking at me. His brown eyes start to melt my heart. Cliché I know but it's the truth.
"You aren't taking all the information out," when he starts talking I'm back to reality " its easy though. You are just over thinking it."
He shows me an easy way to 'dissect' the word problems and then I try a few others and get them right.
"Thank you so much, I love you," I say as I get up and hug him. Right after I hug him I realize what I said.
"I'm so sorry I didn't mean it like that. Please don't tell anyone. I have a boyfriend and-" he cuts me off there.
"It's ok I won't tell anyone, I promise."
With that he walked out of the room leaving me there alone.

Coles POV
After I help her with math Elizabeth jumps out of her seat and hugs me. It feels like our bodies were two puzzle pieces that perfectly fit together then she pulls away.
"I'm so sorry I didn't mean it like that. Please don't tell anyone. I have a boyfriend and-" I cut her off there. My heart sunk.
"It's ok I won't tell anyone." I faked a laugh. Then left before I started crying.
I walked down to the music room and couldn't hold it in any longer. Tears started streaming down my face.
"What's wrong?" Dana asked.
"She has a boyfriend."
"What I'm going to talk to her."
Then he leaves the room leaving me with the three idiots. well, there goes my tough guy image
