Chapter 16

Dana’s POV

“Okay guys, how does Waterville sound?” I ask.

We were all bored and needed something to do.

“Perfect!” Will said getting up and running up the stairs.

“Y’all know there will be a lot of fans there right?” Elizabeth asked.

“Yeah but we like meeting fans” Gabe said.

“And girls” David added on.

Elizabeth just rolled her eyes and walked upstairs to change. 

“Is everything alright with Elizabeth?”

“Yeah, just some fan stuff.”

“What happened?!” I asked.

“It’s nothing I can’t handle!” Cole yelled back at me. 

I let it go and decided I’d ask Elizabeth later when Cole wasn’t around but, that could take forever so I’m gonna need to stage something to get her alone.

We all get ready and head off to Waterville. We get there and Will disappears. Then, David and Gabe run off to The Black Widow and The Bullet leaving me, Cole, and Elizabeth. We were about to walk to the lazy river when some fans spotted us. 

“Cole, can we get a picture?” They asked.

Cole, it was always Cole. Somehow me and Elizabeth managed to escape the mob.

“Is everything okay?” I asked Elizabeth.

“Yeah why?” She asked.

“You just don’t seem like the usual, piglet.”

“Well I’m fine.” she said and started to walk off.

“No you aren’t,” I said grabbing her wrist.

“I don’t want you hating your fans.” she mumbled under her breath. 

“Piglet, you come before any of my fans.” I tell her.

“Ever since me and Cole-” she was cut off by Cole walking up and giving her a hug from behind.

“I’m back, did you miss me?” Cole asked.

“Cole, you were gone for 10 minutes, sweetie.” Elizabeth said patting him on the back.

“So you didn’t miss me?” Cole asked with a sad face.

Before any of them could say anything else I started talking.

“So, what were you saying Elizabeth?” I asked her.

“It’s nothing. I’ll tell you later.”

Cole looked at her strange but didn’t say anything. We went and floated in the lay river for a little while until Cole suggested we race and see who can go down the bullet faster. 

“I think I’ll stay here.” Elizabeth told us.

“Why” Cole asked, he could be so nosey sometimes.

“I just wanna relax for a little while.” She said.

Then Cole left her and just walked away, no more questions, no goodbye, no anything, he just got up and left. I told Elizabeth I was going to find Cole and then I got up and left. There was something bothering him, he wasn’t acting like himself. I looked for him everywhere but I couldn’t find him. It’s like he just disappeared. Then I got a text on the group message from Elizabeth asking where everybody was. Everybody answered, everyone except Cole. Then there was another text from Elizabeth telling us all to go to the truck now. I didn’t know what was going on but this couldn’t be good. We all reached the truck about the same time. Elizabeth was so distracted and worried, something was wrong. She drove and everyone was asking questions but she was frantically looking down at every pier we passed like she was looking for something. She looked at one and turned down the road to it. When we pulled up there was someone laying on the pier. Then we realized it was Cole. Elizabeth told us to get him and out him in the back of the truck and asked me to stay back with him. She refused to get out of her truck though. We went and got Cole and put him in the back. He was breathing but just barely. Elizabeth drove to a hospital where people rushed out of the building and shoved me to the side. After they took him in I went back to the car and told Will, Gabe, and David to follow him and I got into the car. 

“Do you want to go inside?” I asked.

She couldn’t even say anything all she did was put her head on the steering wheel and start crying.

Sorry it's a short chapter. What do y'all think so far? I had no idea that this book would get so many reads! I'm really excited for this book! Hope you enjoy!

Also...I need a ship name for Cole and Elizabeth...Comment any ideas you have.
