A Year with IM5

Chapter 5

Elizabeth's POV

My face hurts bad. How am I going to explain this to Dana? He is going to kill the guys even though they tried to protect me. About half way there my ankle hurts bad and I can't walk on it so Cole picks me up and carries me. Nothing was said the whole walk home. It was complete silence then, just to make matters worse it started storming. When we got to the house I refused to go inside.
"Please Elizabeth come inside it's storming outside"
"I don't want to"
Cole walks inside and then Dana walks out.
"Hey. What's wrong?"
"Nothing is wrong"
Dana reaches up to turn my face towards him but his hand goes exactly where Justin's slapped me and I flinch.
"Elizabeth tell me what's wrong now."
I start crying then tell him about everything that happened. "I'm so sorry. Y'all shouldn't have to get hurt because of my stupid problems."
"Piglet it's not your fault now come on lets get you dried up."
When I walk in all the guys are staring at me. Cole tries to get up but Dana stops him.
"He can come," I say in a very faint voice. We get to my room and I hop into the shower real fast. Then Dana brings me some clothes to put on. I come out of the bathroom and lay down on the bed with Dana beside me and my head in Cole's lap. I wake up first and get ready before I wake Cole up and tell him to get ready. We leave the house and go to school. We walk into the office and Cole signs in as a visitor then we go to my first class, math. I get into the classroom and my teacher has already been explained why Cole is here and he is given a seat next to her. He sits on his phone the whole time occasionally looking up at me. I turn in my test and start writing for my English essay. Then the bell rings and I have to go to my locker which is right next to Justin's. We walk up about the time Justin opens his locker. He just glares at me and Cole then leaves. The whole school day is the same with a couple of laughs as girls realize whole Cole is and ask him for autographs. Then it's time to go home, finally. we get inside and I cheer up almost instantly but who couldn't when Cole kisses you on the cheek after you get pied in the face. This next year is going to be crazy.
"I wanna go on the beach anyone want to come?" I ask the guys. Because of what happened last time all of us went. I changed into my red top with my black bottom. After I get ready all the guys put on their swimsuits. We get my mom to take a picture of me and all the guys. Then there was a race to the water. I came in second right behind Cole. The rest of the guys didn't even run they just walked except Will, he skipped. I lay out my towel and lay down.
"Wait I thought you were gonna get in with us." Cole says.
"Sorry I don't get in water I can't see the bottom."
"Well today you are," he says picking me up bridal style and running into the water before I knew it I was surrounded by water.
"Cole take me back"
"Nope"
Then he tried to set me down but I held onto him for dear life. The guys were out farther and he started walking towards them.
"Cole Alan Pendery take me back now." I screamed. All the guys were laughing.
"Dude how did you get her to come out here," Dana asked.
"He didn't he just picked me up and ran," I say as I slap Cole in the arm.
"What was that? You want me to put you down.
"No no no no" but I was too late he threw me in.
David helped me up onto a boogie board so I could go back .
Cole tried to talk to me but I figured I'd let him pay for what he did so I ignored him.
I got my towel and went back to the house. I could hear Cole chasing after me but I just smirked to myself and kept on going. I get to the house and I take a shower. When I get out, in only a towel may I add, there is Cole doing nothing but waiting on me to get out.
"Excuse me." I say
"I won't look," Cole says covering his eyes.
I get my underwear and shorts on the turn my head to look at Cole and of course he is looking so I pick up the first thing I can and throw it at him. In this case it just happens to be my bra I was about to wear. That was a mistake.
"Really a 34B,that's it. They looked bigger than that." Cole shut up and give me my bra back.
"Nah I'm good"
"Cole give it back now. I want to wear it"
"I'd rather you not."
"You are such a boy"
"Well yeah I would hope so"
I finally got my bra back and put it on. Then I crawl over on the bed and kiss Cole. It turns out into a make out session that was ruined by the guys walking in.
"This is not what it looks like I swear," Cole says as the guys start 'Ooooooo'ing.
"Well now that all of y'all have seen me in a bra I'm not putting a shirt on. I'll be in the game room if anyone wants to play"
Cole winks at me and I realize what I said "Just Dance. Play Just Dance."
"I hereby challenge thee to a dance off," Gabe says jumping towards me.
"You are on. Wanna make it fun."
"Sure"
"Lets have a tournament"
"Loser sleeps on beach, 5th on the porch, 4th on the couch, 3rd on the floor in my room, 2nd and 1st in the bed." Dana says.
"Bring it" I say then walk away towards the game room.
