Chapter 18

Elizabeth's POV

After my college interview I met Dustin at Chick-fil-a. I had been craving a milkshake and they have the best ones. After I ordered Dustin walked in and I almost didn't recognize him. He obviously been lifting. We caught up and talked about school and my nephew well, second cousin but he calls me his aunt. I started drifting off into my thoughts. I was praying that Cole didn't go crazy protective when Dustin came inside with me. Me and Dustin were really close and treat each other like brother and sister. We insult each other, we tell each other "I love you", and he is protective of me. The last thing I need is for Cole to get on Dustin's bad side.

"What's wrong?" Dustin interrupts my thoughts.

"It's nothing." I tell him.

"Something is worrying you. I know you."

"I'm nervous about you meeting Cole."

"I won't scare him... that bad."

"Dustin..." I whined.

"Fine, I do *cough*not*cough* promise to not say anything protective to Cole."

"Dustin you are an idiot."

We leave Chick-fil-a and start to my house. When we get there all the guys except Cole are in the game room doing a UStream. I find out that Cole went for a swim so I put on my swimsuit and then Dustin put his on. He picked me and threw me over his shoulders and started walking towards the pool. He threw me in the pool and then ran away to the other side so I couldn't splash him. I swam over to Cole and gave him a hug. He looked tensed up and I could tell he was questioning who this guy was. Dustin swam over and I introduced the to each other.

"Cole this is Dustin, Dustin this is Cole."

"Nice to meet you Cole. I'm Elizabeth's cousin." Dustin said.

As soon as he said cousin Cole's tension loosened up. "I'm Elizabeth's boyfriend." Cole said. I gave Dustin the death glare.

"I need to talk to you." Dustin told Cole. I tensed up at this. Surprisingly Cole didn't ask any questions or argue or anything like that. They both got out of the pool and I hopped out too

"So, where are we going?" I asked.

"You are staying here." Dustin said turning around picking me up and putting me onto a chair.

"Fine, but I want both of you to come back alive please."

"I'm sure we will." Dustin said and then they left out on the beach.

I started running up the stairs and yelling at the same time "Dana!!!!"

"What's wrong?" Will yelled as I busted through the door.

"Dustin just took Cole out on a walk to talk." I pouted as Dana walked back to the couch.

"Whoa Dustin is here? I haven't seen him in forever." Dana said.

"Everything is going to be fine." David said patting me on the back.

Dana just laughed. He knew Dustin and how protective of me he was. He threatened to kill Justin and made me "break up" with him but we kept dating because I was convinced there was nothing wrong with him. After Justin started abusing me I started to completely trust any advice Dustin gave me. Everything from who my true friends were to what I should wear. I sat in my room and did nothing until Dana came in and checked on me.

"Is everything okay?" Dana said sitting on the floor next to me.

"Yeah, just worried about Cole and Dustin."

"Everything is going to be fine." He said wrapping his arms around me. We sat there for what seemed like forever but was probably only 10 minutes when I heard the back door shut. I jumped up and went downstairs but Cole wasn't there, just Dustin.

Double Update because Friday! School sucks:P Hopefully I'll be able to write more this weekend. Still open for suggestions on a ship name for Cole and Elizabeth...
