Chapter 15

Cole's POV

"Justin, let her go." I said.

"No, and if you take one more step closer all you are going to do is hurt her even more." he said. Elizabeth was crying and begging Justin to let her go.

I took one step closer and Justin gripped her wrists even tighter.

"Looks like someone didn't learn their lesson last time." Justin said.

Something must have snapped in Elizabeth because she used her self defense skills and broke free of his grip then she ran straight towards me. I hugged her and held her close.

"Are you okay?" I asked her.

"Yeah I'm fine, I'm used to it." she said then started walking out of the door.

"Where are you going?" Dalton asked her.

"I'm going to Danielle's then back to my house."

"All by yourself?" Gabe asked.

" Yeah, I need some time to think."

"What about Justin, you know he's not going to let you go that easily." Dana asked.

"So I run" she said.

"You are not walking alone." I tell her.

"Watch me." she said and started running down the sidewalk.

"Let her have some time," David said and put a hand on my back.

Elizabeth's POV

I turned around after I ran out of breath and Cole wasn't behind me. I have to admit I was kinda sad he wasn't there but on the other hand I had some time to think. I couldn't believe what had just happened. It was crazy.

I got to Danielle's house and Wyatt was over.

"Hey Elizabeth did you ask Cole about the fair?"

"Crap I forgot. I will ask him as soon as I get home."

"You are going home right now after what happened last night?" Danielle asked a little shocked.

"Yeah Dalton made us talk it out this morning."

"Okay, well let me know if y'all are going to the fair tomorrow."

"I will"

I pack up all of my stuff and head out. Then a black truck pulled up next to me.

"Need a ride?" I look over and there is Cole in my truck.

"Sure but I'm driving."

"Okay." he says and gets out of the driver's seat. I hop into the truck and turned the music off.

"What's wrong?" Cole asked me.

"Look Cole, I know you think that you could beat up Justin, especially if you are like you were earlier but please stay away from him. He's a lot stronger than you think and doesn't have emotions for anyone. Please just don't mess with him anymore."

"Okay but I can't promise the same will go if he has you like he did today."

"I just want you to be safe."

"Same goes for you."

We pull up into the driveway and Cole says "It looks like Todrick is here."

"Yeah, I wonder why."

We walk in and Todrick puts his arm around Cole's shoulder.

"So Prince Eric, are you up for a Disney Dudez 3?"
