"I have snacks!" Tori announced, carrying a try full of assorted snacks into her room.
Paisley and I were stretched out on her bed, Becca on her chair along with all the clothes she had allowed to accumulate over the past who knows how long. She put the tray on the bed, smashing herself against me as she sat.
"Are those Teddy Grahams?" Becca asked.
"They most definitely are." Tori confirmed, already handing them off to Becca. "Paisley I brought you some fruit and veggies."
She handed a plate of healthy snacks over to Paisley. She kept herself on a super strict diet even though she wasn't competing yet. She was still in a walking boot for the foreseeable future.
"And I brought us guacamole." She smiled over at me, knowing full well I loved her mom's homemade guacamole.
"You're mom is the best." I told her, scooping a chip into the bowl of green deliciousness.
"What's Toby's last name?" Becca asked out of the blue.
Everyone's eyes shifted to me while I tried to force down my partially chewed chip. I shook my head, my face screwing up as I nearly choked.
"I don't know." I sputtered, reaching for one of the bottled waters on the tray of food.
"You don't know?" The question echoed through the room.
I shrugged, grabbing another chip even though I still wasn't completely recovered. "Never asked."
"Does he have a Facebook?" Paisley questioned.
"Don't know." I answered again.
"Let's try and find him." Becca said, her fingers tapping across her phone. "Toby isn't super popular and neither is his full name. He's bound to pop up."
"Ask him what his last name is." Paisley told me.
I rolled my eyes. "I'm not going to text him and ask him what his last name is. That sounds creepy."
"Give me your phone, I'll do it." She said, her hand outstretched. "Don't you want to know?"
"No, I'm fine not knowing." I left my phone in my pocket where it belonged. "I'm sure I'll find out eventually."
"Yeah but what if he has a girlfriend he isn't telling you about? We could search his Facebook, make sure he's legit." Becca shoved some Teddy Graham's in her mouth. "So Toby is way more common than I thought."
"He's not hiding a girlfriend." I defended. I glanced at Tori who sat silently beside me, watching our interaction. She shrugged her shoulders. "I'm not snooping."
"It's not snooping, it's making sure you're well informed."
"Did you stalk Joel before you were dating him?" I asked.
"Uh yeah." She brushed her light brown hair over her shoulder, some of the purple strands underneath showing through. "All it confirmed for me was he was a bigger nerd than I had originally thought."
Tori and Paisley laughed.
"Well I'm not snooping."
"You aren't even a little curious?" Paisley questioned, her eyebrows raised.
I shook my head no even though I could feel doubt peering over the edges of my confidence. I scooped another glob of guacamole onto a chip and crammed it in my mouth before I could change my answer.

"Do you think Becca's right?" I asked a couple hours later after Paisley and Becca both went home.
