Brooklyn's P.O.V

"Your lying"

Andrew looked at me as if I said the most stupidest thing in the world. "Why would I lie?"

I opened my mouth, but nothing came out. I thought back to the scene that took place only a few minutes ago.

The wolf had a the fire sign on it's forehead which meant it was an elemental wolf. The only fire wolf's that were supposed to be alive was Andrew and I.

"That's impossible. She's dead, you told me that"

"You don't think I know that?" he snapped.

I took a step back in shocked at his sudden outburst.

"Look I'm sorry I just need to find Matthew" and with that he walked into the palace.

Andrew's P.O.V

"MATTHEW" I roared. "Where are you?"

He turned the corner and looked at me with confusion. He was only wearing a pair of shorts which meant he too had just came back from his shift. The full moon was gone and everything was back to normal.

"What did you do? Did you lie to me?"

"Andrew, what are you talking about?"

He had no idea what I was saying. Maybe it was all an act or maybe he really didn't know what I was talking about. "My mother Matthew. I'm talking about mother"

"Why don't we talk about this is my office?" He suggested.

I sighed and looked around me. Guards were starting to form around us. They were curious about what was happening.

Without saying anything I walked past him and to the stairs. I knew he was following behind me from the sound of his footsteps.

I opened the office door and took a seat on one of his chairs. He closed the door and began pouring himself a drink.

He came up to me and handed me a glass of scotch. I gladly took it and took a sip of it.

He sat on the edge of his desk and looked down at me. "So what's this about your mother?"

"She's alive. I know it seems crazy but it's true. I saw her and so did Brooklyn"

"Brooklyn saw her?"

"Yes, but she didn't know who she was at first. Not until I told her"

"Are you sure it was her?"

I clenched my jaw and looked him straight in the eye. "Positive"

He sighed and stood up. "Okay. Give me a till the suns up to see what I can find out"

I nodded and stood up as well. "Thank you"

"It's nothing. She's family, to both of us"

I drank the last of the scotch and let it burn my throat as I walked out.

Brooklyn's P.O.V

"How you feeling?"

I shrugged.

I didn't know exactly how to feel. Things weren't good, but then again they could have been worse. Somewhere in the world the was probably a girl the same age as me going through something much worse than I am.

"Are you hungry?" Steph asked.

"Not really"

"Well I am, so come on" She grabbed my hand and yanked me off her couch.
