Chapter 18: Fire

In this chapter you get to read everyone's P.O.V. that way you know what was happening in side everyone's head.

Its now Friday and today is when I finnaly channel my fire side. I'm so excited. Jane said that it will be different from when I channels my air side. Mostly I'm just excited to see my Dads wolf. I know he is not my dad but he is Shapphire. Speaking of Shapphire she as been talking about it non stop. I even had to blocked her once.

Shapphire: I can't believe I'm meeting my dad today. I was so happy when I meet mom.

Brooklyn: Yeah me too.

Ethan and I have been getting close, but still haven't marked eachother yet. Right now we are on the training grounds, I am standing in the middle with Andrew as Jane and the guys surround us. Ethan said that it would be better if Andrew would walk me through this since he already went through it.

"Okay so just stand there and think about fire" Andrew said.

"That's all?"

"Yup. Nothing to it" he said joining the others.

I stood there, closed my eyes and thought about fire. After a while of just standing there I gave up.

"Nothings happening" said frustrated.

"Thats because you are not trying hard enough" Andrew said from where he was standing. "Try again"

I sighed and tried again. I thought of forest fires, matches, bonfires, but still nothing.

"I bet your not even trying" Andrew yelled.

"I am, but your advice isn't exactly helpful" I replied.

He sighed and walked up to me. "Okay maybe I didn't explain it correctly. Don't just image fire. Imagen a single flame. Focus on its energy. Feel its heat. Got it?"

I nodded. He turned and walked back to the others.

I closed my eyes again and took a deep breath. I imaged a match and focused on it, just like Andrew said. The flame started growing bigger in my mind. Sudenly I could feel the heat. It was like if I was actually staring at the same in real life. The heat hit my face but I didn't pull away. It felt good.

I opened my eyes and saw I was still on the training grounds, but no one was there and it was dark.

"Hello? Father. Sapphire. Anyone." I started looking around when I saw a small flame turned on. I walked towards it and saw Shapphire with an amber wolf. On its ear it had a red spot. It was the fire symbol.

Stone: Hello Brooklyn I'm Stone, your fathers wolf. I'm assuming you already know why you are here.

I nodded.

Stone: Very well, I will keep it short then. Fire is a strong source and can be very destructive, but at the same time if can be a beautiful thing. You must learn to use it for only good. At times it may seem hard but you will get trough it.

Brooklyn: What if I can't control it?

Stone: If you don't learn how to control it you could destroy everything on sight. But like I said you will get trought it.

He turned and started walking off.

Brooklyn: Wait. How do I 'summon' my power exactly.

Stone: Trust me it will just happen. When it does you must not take your anger out on others.

Brooklyn: What? What do you mean by that?

He just ignored me and kept on walking.
