Chapter 8: Road trip -Part 1

Beep beep beep

I grabbed my phone from my nightstand and saw that my alarm for 4:00 was already going off. As I sat up I looked over at Stephanie, who was still sound asleep.

I shook her arm "Stephine... Stephanie wake up.

"What do you want?"

"Come on it's time to get ready the boys are going to be here and 30 minutes"

"Okay, okay I'm up"

We both headed to the bathroom, brushed our teeth, washed our face. Stephanie put her hair into a side braid while I pulled mine back into a messy bun. We walked back to my room and changed into something comfortable to wear on the road.

I was now wearing some black yoga pants with a blue oversized sweater and white Converse. Me and Stephanie were wearing the same thing just instead of the sweater being blue it was a light pink.

"Okay I'm going to go tell my parents that we're going to be leaving soon"

"Okay I'll be downstairs waiting for the boys to get here"

As I opened the door to my parents bedroom I could hear my dad snoring. When I looked at their bed I only saw my dad. Where is Mom.

"What are you doing sweetie?"

I jumped up "Mom you scared me"

"Sorry I was just coming out of the restroom when I saw you. Are you leaving already?"

I nodded. "Yeah the guys are going to be here in a few minutes"

"Oh okay" she said as she hugged me "just make sure you call me when you get there and call me and your dad everyday, that way we know you are safe"

"I will Mom" I looked over to Dad. "Can you tell Dad that I said bye and that I love him"

She smiled at me. "Of course"

I walked downstairs and saw Stephanie looking out the dining room window.

"Are they here yet?"

"No"

"Okay, while we wait I'm going to go to the bathroom, I have a feeling we are not going to be stopping anytime soon."

"Yeah maybe I should go to"

It is now 4:35 and the guys still aren't here. Just as Stephanie was about to text AJ I got a call from Ethan.

"Hey where are you guys?"

"Geez good morning to you to Brooklyn"

"Goodmornig Ethan. Now answer my question"

"We just turned the corner. Can you open your garage so AJ can park the car?"

I walked towaeds the garage and open the door.

"Its open already"

"Ok we are here" he said as they pulled up.

*20 minutes later

I stared out the window as we left L.A. AJ was driving, Steph was in the passenger seat and Ethan was sitting behind AJ.

"You ok?" Ethan asked.

"Yeah, why?"

"Its just that you have been staring out the window since we left"

"I'm just tired that's all. I didn't really get any sleep last night" I pointed to Steph, who was seatting in front of me. "She kept me up all night with constantly rolling on top of me"
