You follow Kurenai back to the table your boyfriend and your new friends were at.
Asuma quickly stood up and walked up to you, placing his hands on your shoulders and looking you dead in the eyes.
"(Y/n)... I am so... SO sorry that I spoke to you that way and accused you... it was highly inappropriate of me and I promise you I will not let Shikamaru Nara get away with this. You have my word." He pulled you into his chest, wrapping his strong arms around your shoulders and giving you a tight hug.
"It's okay, Asuma Sensei." You said with a smile. You tried to move your arms to hug him back but his hold on you was way too tight. "Asuma... I ...can't...breathe..." you said in between breaths.
He chuckled nervously and let you go, his arms returning back to your shoulder as he gave you one last head nod.
You smiled in return, then you both took your original place back in your booth. Asuma by the window, then Kurenai, then you. You saw Kakashi's hand slide across the table in order to grab yours, giving it a light squeeze as he interlocked his fingers with yours.
"Are you okay?" He asked, genuine concern filling his voice.
"I am." You respond with a head nod and a smile.
"Good, now how about we play a friendly game of never have I ever." Kakashi said as he pat the table with both of his hands, seemingly hyped to play this game.
"OH YES! LET US PLAY THIS GAME AND I SHALL PROVE THAT I HAVE DONE MORE INTERESTING STUFF IN MY LIFE THAN THAT OF KAKASHI HATAKE!" Do I need to even tell y'all who screamed that? I mean, it's pretty obvious.
(For those who DONT know it was Gai.)
Kakashi and Gai left the booth, then came back five minutes later with 25 shots of Sake. Five for each of you.
"Um.. I'm sorry, I don't mean to be a drag but.. I legally, can't drink." You said as you eyes the alcohol they placed in front of you.
"What are we gonna do? Tell your Sensei?" Kakashi joked as he set your fifth shot down next to the other four.
You all laughed as you realized that he was kind of right. I mean, who could really stop you?
Kurenai started it off.
"Never have I ever, made out with someone in a public setting."
Everyone besides Kurenai and Gai took a shot, including you.
Asuma's turn.
"Alright.. well, let's see. Never have I ever...hmm... fraternized with my students and/or Sensei." He laughed as he exchanged looks between you and Kakashi. "You two better drink up!"
You both laughed as you took your second shot, the alcohol causing a burning sensation to tingle down your throat that oddly left you wanting more.
You looked at Kakashi who threw his shot back so quickly, you couldn't even see him move his mask and put it back in place.
Now for Gai.
"Never have I ever lost a challenge to Kakashi!"
Everyone took a shot besides Kakashi.
"Gai. The point of the game is to state something you have NEVER done. And let's face it, you lose to me more often than you win." Kakashi said, you could feel his smug grin spread under his mask.
Kakashi's turn.
"Never have I ever had a threesome."
Asuma and Kurenai took a shot, causing all of you to look at them with shocked expressions.
