Chapter Sixteen

"Okay.. and why exactly am I here?" You asked Kakashi as you walked into his apartment, him shutting and locking the door behind you.

"Because, I told you we were going to get to know each other. And just because I am going to be gone with Jiraiya I don't want you to think I don't still care for you." He said as he walked you over to his living room, both of you taking a seat on his couch.

You smiled as you thought about his homecoming. You planned on cooking him his favorite meal and welcoming him into your house, free to do whatever you both please.

"What is it you want to know?" You asked, still smiling.

"Everything." He calmly stated.

You two spent the next two hours talking about yourselves, laughing at the cheesy jokes and the funny stories y'all told one another.

Before you knew it the clock hit 11:30, giving you only thirty minutes to get back to the hospital.

"I should really get back. I only have a couple more nights with the hospital, I don't want to risk having to stay longer." You said with a laugh.

"I'll walk you back."

You both got up and headed for his front door. You went to reach for the lock but he swiftly placed himself in between you and the door, blocking your way.

"Kakashiiii." You whined playfully. You didn't really want to leave either, but you made a promise to be back and you always keep your promises.

"I just wanted to ask something real quick." He said as he moved his mask down with a smile.

"And what would that be?" You asked.

"(Y/n), would you please give me a chance of giving you nothing but happiness, and do me the honor of making me your boyfriend?" You could tell he was nervous, but he sounded sure in his words.

You stared at him as your smile stretched from ear to ear. Your eyes scanned over his face. From the scar over his left eye, to his cute nose and to his sexy lips that everyone in the village was always so curious to see. Your eyes avert back to his, a look of nerves and love in his own stare.

"I would love for you to be mine, Kakashi." You replied, grabbing his face with your hands and kissing him.

He wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you closer, feeling the kiss. He smiled into it, unable to control his happiness and picked you up as he twirled you around.

"Yes!" He exclaimed in pure joy. "You, (y/n) (l/n), have made me the happiest man in all of Konaha."

He placed you down and gave you another kiss, then unlocked the door and opens it, starting the walk back to the hospital.

"A life full of happiness with the sweetest, sexiest man in the village? How could I turn that down?" You said as you exited the apartment building.

"You're smart." He said with a cocky smile, his mask back on his usual spot on his face. But you knew that smile was there.

"As are you, I'm a joy." You said back with just as much narcissism.

"My joy. With that being said, I won't have to worry about Shikamaru trying to steal you from me right?" His voice got a more serious tone at the end of his sentence.

"My loyalty lies with you, Sensei." You looked at him, a devious smirk on your face. "As long as you're in the picture, no one will enjoy my presence the same way you will."

"If it weren't for your promise, I would've kept you at my place for the night." He said returning the smirk.

While you two were talking about yourselves, you did use that time to tell him you were a virgin, and that you were saving yourself for the right person.

As if reading your thoughts, he said, "I will prove to you I am the right one for you. I won't pressure you, and I won't rush you. But know whenever you are ready.." his hand shifted from around your waist to under your skirt, his hand firmly grasping your bottom.."I will show you a world of pleasure." He finished his sentence with a squeeze of your butt and a wink.

You blushed as he moved his hand from under your skirt to your own, interlacing your fingers together.

"You're all talk, Kakashi. When the time is right, I'll see if your confidence matches your actions." You returned the wink, once again smirking deviously.

You two walked the rest of the way in silence, just enjoying each other's company.

You got to the hospital and he walked you to your room.

"I leave tomorrow, (y/n). I'll be sure to stop by and say my goodbyes. But you better believe I will come back to you unharmed." He must've seen the worried expression in your eyes.. you just got him, you didn't want to lose him due to a mission.

"I look forward to it." You say as you relax a bit, his voice reassuring you. "I love you Kakashi San."

"I love you too." He pulled his mask down gave you a quick kiss, pulling it back up and opening the window.

"Now get some beauty sleep. Not that you need it." And with a wink and a jump out the window, he was gone in the night.
