~~Time Skip because I honestly have no clue how long it's been~~
"KAKASHI YOU FUCKING BASTARD!!" You screamed, spit flying from your mouth as tears streamed down your cheeks. You clutched your belly in pain as another contraction pulsed it's way through you. "YOU FUCKING DID THIS TO ME YOU FUCKING DOUCHE CANOE!! YOU COULDNT HAVE LOCKED IT UP BEFORE YOU KNOCKED ME UP?!"
Kakashi let out a deep sigh as he pushed you in a wheelchair to the room in which your baby Gisei would be born. "At a time like this, you're still making jokes." He said in his rather monotonous voice.
You snapped your head at him, your eyes meeting his one onyx one. You went to snap back a sassy retort like you usually do, but the look in his eye prevented you from doing so. His face, though covered, gave off a look of calmness. A desire to stay serene through this whole process while you were throwing every insult you could think of his way.
But there was a trace of something. Something you have never noticed about him before, and you just couldn't quite put your finger on it. His voice, though soothing, was rather too monotonous. Like he said, at a time like this, how could he be remaining so calm?.. like he doesn't even care...
You shook your head, erasing that thought from your mind.
He's just trying to stay calm for the both of us
You thought to yourself.
Now is not the time to overthi-
"AHHHHH GET THIS TINY PERSON OUT OF MY BODY RIGHT FUCKING NOW!!"
Kakashi chuckled as he wheeled you into the room and the nurses helped you into the bed. You were in so much pain that you didn't even realize you had a death grip on the nurses to the left and right of you.
Tsunade walked in, all suited up and ready to go. "Alright (y/n)." She started to say as she knelt down in front of you. "Let's deliver your baby."
34 AGONIZING HOURS LATER
*kakashis POV*
Kakashi looked at the sweaty, messy, beautiful woman that laid in the hospital bed, her eyes closed and her breathing steady. You had been sleeping for the past three hours, and your lover hasn't been able to leave your side since.
You had a healthy delivery, but Kakashi wanted you to be the first parent to hold your baby girl, since you did all the hard stuff.
Kakashi took a deep breath as he ran his hand through his sliver hair, letting it out shakily as he watched you rest in your peaceful slumber.
"You can come out now." He said, his words just as monotonous as ever.
His eyes darted to a dark corner of the room, then he turned his body to face it fully. "Didn't you hear me?" He spoke again. "You can come out now, Sasuke."
Sasuke's tall, dark figure took one step out of the corner, his hands in his pockets as his onyx eyes met with those of his Sensei's.
"I knew it was a matter of time before you realized I was here, Sensei." Sasuke said, his voice just as calm and boring.
"I knew the whole time, you may be good Sasuke but I'm better. Don't forget who the teacher is." Kakashi chuckled as he turned his body and eyes back to you. "I'd ask what you're doing here, but I feel as if that'd be a waste of breath."
"And whys that?" Sasuke asked.
"Because I already know."
Sasuke smirked the slightest of smirks, his hands moving from his pockets causing his arms to cross at his chest. "Then you know I am here to see my best friend and my new niece."
Kakashi looked at him, his eyes examining Sasuke's posture. "Now why lie to me, Sasuke? You'd think after all of these years, you'd know not to underestimate me." Kakashi moved from your bed side, walking to the Uchiha and stopping about a feet in front of him.
Sasuke looked at Kakashi with questioning eyes, questions forming in his mind but yet stayed there, Sasuke not uttering a word.
"Sasuke. Listen. I don't want to to fight, but you know I will, especially when it comes to those I love. Even though (y/n) hasn't spoken to me about it directly, doesn't mean I don't know what games you're trying to play."
Kakashi took another step forward.
"She is your best friend. Has been for quite some time. And nothing in this world will change that, correct?"
"Correct." Agreed Sasuke.
"Then why are you trying to change that?"
Sasuke's eyes widened at the sudden accusation, slightly taken aback by the Jounins statement.
Kakashi continued. "You confessed your love for her. You stalked and tormented her. Hell you even almost kissed her. And why? All because you claim to be in love with her.
"I don't blame you, for she is the most perfect girl in all of the villages, but you wanna know something Sasuke? Something you should already know?"
"What's that." He asked cooly.
"She is mine."
Kakashi growled his last statement as he took one last step towards Sasuke.
"And nothing, not even you, will take her from me. Got it?"
Kakashi expected a nod of the head, or a soft yes, hell maybe even just an eye roll and sassy exit. But what he did not expect was a malicious sounding chuckle to escape Sasuke's lips.
"What's so funny, Uchiha?" He asked, hiding his bewilderment.
"You sound so sure of yourself, Sensei. All of these promises but yet little action to back your words up. Sure, (y/n) may be yours now, but she is mine for the taking whether you like it or not. The only true thing you said was that she's perfect. And she is, in every way that counts, but in my opinion she's an idiot for sticking around with someone who got her murdered in the first place."
Sasuke pushed passed Kakashi and headed towards the door, never breaking eye contact.
"Remember who helped push her into your undeserving arms, Hatake. Because that same person will be the one who pries her from them. It's only a matter of time before she realizes where she truly belongs, and who she belongs with. And that person is not you."
Sasuke turned on his heels after scolding his Sensei and opened the door to leave, before halting at his Sensei's next words.
"If its a fight you want, it's a fight you'll get, Uchiha." Kakashi stated firmly.
Sasuke smirked again as he focused his attention on the floor beneath his feet. He took a deep breath and let it out calmly as he looked back up before walking out, his last words ringing through Kakashi's head.
"And its a fight I'll win, Hatake."
