You woke up to the smell of sweet maple syrup, which lured you off the couch and into the kitchen. There you see Sasuke, with your kitchen apron on and a spatula in his hand, pancake batter splattered on his face.

"Good morning, (y/n). Breakfast?" He asked you as he slid two pancakes on your plate, drizzling the brown sticky syrup on top of them.

"Yes please." You say with a yawn as you take your usual place at the table. You sat on the left, mother typically on the right, and father always in the middle. This was the first time in a while you sat at that table, it just didn't feel the same without them there.

After your dad died in combat, your mother couldn't take the pain of staying in that house apparently, as she stated in her note she left you, it is all a constant reminder of the man I love, now the man I lost.

You stared at her spot, sadness gleaming in your eyes. You were snapped out of your daze once Sasuke placed your plate in front of you.

"U-uh, thanks Sasuke!" You shook your head to fully snap you out of your thoughts. "It looks wonderful."

You smile as you take a bite, Sasuke sitting next to you in your dads old spot. He always sat there, you don't really know why, but that was Sasuke's go to spot.

"Stop staring at me and eat." He says in the middle of chewing. "We got training in fifteen minutes."

You smile as you start eating, finishing rather quickly. You go to your room, opening your closet and looking for an outfit.

Hmm.. I need to do wash. You thought to yourself as you raid through it. This will have to do! You pull out a blue sweater, throwing it on over your black bra. The only bra that fits you cause of your rather large bosom. At least wearing the sweater won't bring as much attention to them.

You grab a pair of high waisted, blue jean shorts. You slip them on, hopping a bit to get them over your also rather-large bottom. You button them up at your waist, and sat down on your bed, digging in your sock drawer. You pulled out a pair of blue knee high stockings, matching the sweater you put on, and then slipped them on along with your black sneakers.

You brushed your long (h/c) hair and decided to pull it back in a ponytail, opening up your face a lot more.

You smile as you skip back to the kitchen, grabbing your stuff and you head towards the door.

"COME ON SASUKE! WE ARE GONNA BE LATE!" You yell out to him, waiting for him by the door. He runs from the bathroom as he slips on his big blue sweater with his family's emblem on the back.
"Alright, I'm ready."

You both leave your house, walking to the tree where you all train together. You see your teammates, Sakura and Naruto, already practicing. Naruto is using his Shadow Clone Jitsu and Sakura is throwing her Kunai at them, making them disappear in a puff of smoke.

"You already starting without us?" You called to them.

"SASUKE!!" Sakura yelled as she ran and tackle hugged him to the floor, ignoring your presence all together.

"Oh I've missed you so much Sasuke San!" Sakura bellowed again as she sat up and pulled Sasuke up with her.

"Hmph." Was all Sasuke muttered, dusting himself off as he walked away from Sakura.

"You we're doing just fine until I showed up. What a shame you let boys get the best of you." Sasuke retorted in his typical mysterious bad boy persona.

He rolled his eyes as he shuffled away from Sakura, you could see the look of disappointment on her face. She looked down and frowned, slowly walking back to Naruto.

"I don't understand what I did wrong?.. why does he hate me so much?" You hear her ask Naruto, as he puts a comforting hand on her shoulder.

"Don't you worry your pretty head Sakura! He's not good enough for you anyways! You'll find someone who worships the very ground you walk on BELIEVE IT!" Naruto practically shouted while giving her a toothy smile and a thumbs .

You shake your head as you walk right under the tree. You start doing your stretches while Sakura and Naruto continue practicing their clone and knife skills, and Sasuke is working on balancing his Chakra evenly, climbing up the tree.

You bend down, touching your toes. You stay in that position for a few seconds, feeling the burn in your legs.

You take a deep breath, keeping your eyes closed as you stand up and slowly let the air out.

You turn around, feeling as if someone was staring. You instantly start blushing as you realize who was behind you the whole time.

"Good morning kiddos." Kakashi Sensei said with his arm bent behind him, hand around his neck, eyes close, presumably smiling.

"G- good morning Sensei." You say rather quickly, backing up next to Sakura. You were a little embarrassed due to the fact you were just bent over, ass practically hanging out of your shorts.

"As you all know we were going to start our training back up today, but the Hokage has asked to see all of us in his office, presumably for a mission." Kakashi looks at the four of you, as if examining what exactly it is you all bring to the table. Sure, you have all been on missions before. In fact, y'all have been on a whole lot of missions together. But right before every mission he did this. He would line you up, and examine your features, as if he was trying to remember every detail about you all.

"Well what are we doing standing around here like a bunch of couch potatoes?! LETS GO!!" Naruto shouted as he started running towards the Hokage's office.

You all started following after, not nearly as excited as Naruto. Sasuke tried to walk by himself but eventually gave up when he realized he couldn't shake Sakura.

"That girl is just ridiculous." You said, thinking it was to yourself.

"She's in Love." You heard right next to you. You look to your left and up a little bit, looking at your Sensei. "You should really work on keeping your thoughts in your head." He said with a chuckle as y'all continued to walk, looking ahead of him.

"Sorry Sensei." You said with slight embarrassment. "It's just... she knows he's not interested. And to be quite frank it's obvious he swings the other way, at least to me that is. So why does she keep trying?" You ask him, hoping for a genuine answer.

"Like I said. It's because she loves him. Love makes people do crazy things. Like borderline stalker crazy." He chuckles as he brings his hand from his pocket and gestures at her. "Sakura isn't one to give up without a fight. She views Sasuke as someone special, she has for years. It's hard to just drop those feelings."

You think for a second about what your Sensei has said. You look down and frown a bit, realizing that you don't have a special someone like that in your life, and you feel as if you never will...

"Kakashi Sensei?" You addressed him as you looked up at him.

"Hm?" He says in response, returning the eye contact.

"Do you have that special someone? Someone you just feel like you can't live without?"

He looks a little shocked at your question, but looks as if he is putting serious thought into what he is going to say next.

"Yes I do. But that person doesn't know it yet." He smiles as he ruffles your hair.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I got some reading to do." He pulls out a book from his bag and falls back a bit from the team, reading to himself.

That person doesn't know it yet? His statement rings through your head in ambiguity. What does he mean by that? And who? And why do they not know?

All of these questions flood your mind, and for some reason deep in your heart, you feel a sting. A pinch of jealousy beating around.

...and why do I feel so.. so.. jealous..?
