"(Y/n)... can you please talk to me now?" Kakashi asked in his most soothing voice possible. It had only been a couple of hours since the fight you and Sasuke had. "Why aren't you talking to me?"
You stop dead in your tracks and bite your lip hard, trying not to take all of your anger out on him. "Kakashi. I appreciate you trying to be here for me, but right now really is not the time." You say, an intense look of frustration gleaming from your eyes.
"When will it be the time then? Are you just going to spend the rest of the mission all huffy like this? You won't be able to function correctly yet alone fight with your head fogged up with whatever happened back there. If so then maybe I can have Naruto take you back to the village."
"Oh just because I'm upset means I'm not capable to whip someone's ass? Do you really want to test that theory with me, Kakashi?" You step closer to him balling up your fist and practically waving it in his face.
He grabs your fist with his hand, lowering it and stroking his thumb against your fingers. All I'm saying is maybe if you talk about it, you might feel a little better..."
You just stare at y'all's hands, part of you wanting him to continue holding it, but the other part of you wanting to blame the whole fight on Kakashi.
He just had to make you fall for him... just had to go and make you feel special...
"No Sensei..." you look up at him, knowing what you were about to say might change the whole course of your relationship with him... "...I don't want to talk about anything with you anymore... you're my teacher, not my boyfriend.." you choke back your tears as you pull your hand away from his. "Maybe it's for the best we keep it that way..."
You look behind you, realizing the other three had been watching the whole time.
"Are you happy now Sasuke? You don't have to worry about anyone stealing me away from you. Because now, I have no one. Not my best friend..." you look at Kakashi, "....not my love...." you look at Sakura and Naruto, "...and not my team.."
You walk past them, in the direction back to Konaha.
"You're right Kakashi Sensei.. maybe it's best I don't complete this mission with you all anymore...or any future missions you may have. As soon as I get back to Konaha, I will go to Lord Hokage and request to be put on another team." This time you couldn't fight the tears that were already streaming down your face. Your voice may have been calm, but your tears were flowing as if your eyes were leaky water faucets.
"I'm sorry to have put all of us in this position.." you pierce your lips together, raising your arms up and throwing them back down in a sloppy shrug.
You turn around and leap into the trees, using your chakra to jump from tree to tree to get back home faster. You had no reason to save your chakra anymore, so why not?

^~Time Skip~^
You leapt off of one final tree, landing on the ground skillfully, but once you try to walk you stumble a bit. You didn't realize how much chakra you had used and now your body was paying for it.
You balanced yourself upright, breathing deeply from the amount of jumping you had just done.
It had been about a week since you left your comrades and abandoned the mission and you finally arrived home. You got there a lot faster now that you were able to use your chakra.
"I need to get home.." you speaksoftly to yourself, an uneasy feeling settling in your gut. It was already dark and not a single person was out.
