"Kakashi!" Kiba called to your lover, shaking him vigorously. "Kakashi wake up please! Hinata picked up on something!"
Kakashi groggily woke up, shoving Kiba's hands off of him as he sat up, stretching.
His mask was still on, so he reached under it and wiped the dribble of drool he had dripping from his lips. "What is it, Kiba?"
"Hinata found something that I think would help us get a lead on (y/n)'s whereabouts!" Kiba screamed as he pulled Kakashi out of his sleeping bag and out the tent. "Look! Right there!"
Kakashi followed Kiba to where Hinata and the others stood, looking at an object held in Hinata's hand.
As they got closer he grabbed it from Hinata, taking a closer look and realizing it was part of a map.
Most of it was missing, and the edges of it were ruined from dirt and water, but some of it was still readable.
"Hinata where did you find this?!" Kakashi asked, excitement filling his voice.
Hinata started blushing as everyone directed their attention towards her. "I.. uh.. I-I found it when I w-was walking.. it w-was under a huge tree branch t-that had fallen over.. Im assuming the kidnappers m-must've dropped it while the branch w-was falling.
Kakashi was filled with an overwhelming sensation of joy, his heart beating fast and his breath picking up in pace as well.
He let out a hearty laugh and ran up to Hinata, hugging her and spinning her around. "You are the best leader I've ever had the pleasure of working with Hinata thank you so much!" He bellowed.
"T-t-t-thanks s-s-Sensei!" Hinata stumbled on her words as embarrassment and happiness filled her heart.
"Okay... you can put her down now!" Sakura said through gritted teeth. "After all I'm sure the Hokage wouldn't appreciate the teacher hugging the student while said teacher was practically naked.
She growled that last part.
Kakashi quickly set Hinata down and took a step back, realizing that he was in only his boxers.
He used his hands to try and cover up as much as he could as his whole face turned red, only the parts not being covered by the mask was visible.
"I am so sorry, kiddos! Heh... I'm gonna.. I'm gonna go get changed. Um.. it's still pretty late. You all go back and get some rest, I'm going to be the one who keeps guard." Kakashi said as he started inching his way back to his tent.
Ten Ten and Ino were giggling to each other as they looked Kakashi up and down.
"My Sensei you really know how to keep in shape." Ino said with a lip bite.
"Yeah, if this whole thing with (y/n) doesn't work out then maybe you can teach me a lesson." Ten Ten responds, adding a wink.
Kakashi chuckled nervously again as he scratched the back of his neck and ran to his tent before it got any more awkward.
Everyone did as instructed and headed back to their tents, as Kakashi headed back out and climbed up a tree to keep guard.
He studied the half of the map he held in his hands and sighed in relief as he realized that it was the half leading straight to the Akatsuki's secret hideout.
"Score." He said with a grin as he looked over the forest that surrounded him.
