Chapter Fifty

"She looks so peaceful! I don't think we should wake her..."

"WAKE THE FUCK UP!" Naruto screamed as he started shaking you. You jumped up in fright and then landed on your ass on the floor before him.

"What the ACTUAL FUCK NARUTO!" You heard Sakura scream as she hit him upside the head. "She's pregnant you Baka!"

Naruto started rubbing the back of his neck as he gave an awkward closed eyes smile. "R-right... sorry (y/n)."

You got to your feet and put a hand to your stomach. It has been a couple of months now since your revival, so your stomach was poking out just a bit. You couldn't help but smile at the thought of your baby girl being born in the real life.

"It's okay, Naruto." You spoke, an evil glare glinting in your eyes. You took a step closer to him and placed your hand on his shoulder. "But if you ever, shake me, scare me, even touch me, ever again..." your grip grew tighter and tighter with each word, Naruto's face turning read as his eyes grew with fear. "....I will rip your genitals off, cut it up to be even smaller than they are now, and make you eat them." You finished your statement with a closed eye smile of your own, adding a cute chuckle as well.

Naruto's knees were bent as he leaned into your grip. His eyes were shut tight and his whole body was shaking. "Okay okay! I promise just please let go!!"

You let go of his shoulder and grabbed his orange and black jumpsuit to help him get back to his feet. You patted his cheek as you looked over at Sakura who had the same fear that Naruto had glistening in her jade orbs.

"Thank you for being considerate of my baby girl, Sakura San. You'll be the best future god mother ever."

Suddenly, Sakura's look transformed from trepidation to merriment. Her smile stretched wide across her face as her whole frame began to jump up and down. "I get to be the God Mother? Oh I can't wait to tell Hinata! She's going to love this!"

"No one can know yet, Sakura. We have been over this. The only people who even know I'm expecting is Lady Tsunade and my team. I don't need people judging her when she comes out.. we need to make them think she was conceived after the revival.. they already look at me as a monster, I don't want the same for my baby.."

Sakuras exoression changed again, a look of somber filling every crease of her face. She walked to me and pulled me into a tight embrace. "I promise you, (y/n) (l/n), that your baby, Gisei Hatake, will be forever loved by me, Sakura Haruno, and my lover, Hinata Hyuga." She pulled back, moving her hands from around my waist to the top of my shoulders. "Whether we are her god parents or not. She's apart of our team. She will feel like she belongs in this world. You have my ninja word."

You let out a breath of relief that you didn't even know you were holding in and you let yourself form a genuine smile. "Thank you, Sakura San."

She bowed her head in response, pulling away as she backed away towards my bedroom door. It had been a while since you were in your own house, but you found an odd sense of comfort being back.

When you first got back you couldn't even touch the front door knob, but over the weeks you've been away, you felt more detached from your father.

Every time you tried to come back, memories of when you two were together again flashed through your mind, causing your heart to hurt with remembrance. But, in your gut you felt a twinge of happiness, knowing that eventually, one day, you will be reunited again.

Eventually it got easier and easier, the happy thoughts consuming your mind and heart.

In fact, you weren't the only one comfortable enough to live in your house.
