The games (remington)

(A hunger games style one because I'm trash for the hunger games)

We were well into the 10th day of the 74th annual hunger games. Only a few tributes were left. Us,the Cato,clove, thresh,and foxface.the game was now intense. Remington and i had become allies. Now I know what your thinking,it's a bad idea to become allies because you'll have to kill each other eventually.

Rem and I are from the same district.were from district one. Yes I know were a top district but that doaent mean the odds are in our favor this round. Snow changed up the rules and made it to where district 2 and 4 are the career districts. So now were one of the normal districts. Since we're so high in ranking in our scores anyone would want to kill us

Remington was given a 8 and I was given an 11. No doubt everyone wanted me killed. Rem used knives while I used a bow and arrow.

" we should set up here for the night."
He said. "Sounds good." I said we both went and gathered supplies together. He took my hand in his and smiled.

We weren't dating. He was my best friend and I was his. We both loved each other but didn't want to start anything until we turned 19 since at that age you're done in the hunger games. We are both 18 so we didn't have to wait long.

We finished the shelter right around night fall. We got in and tried to get comfortable. It took awhile until i got the courage to lay my head on his shoulder. He laughed and moved me onto his lap. I blushed and laid my head on his chest.

It felt nice. Being this close to him. I know were in a life and death situation but if I'm with him I feel safe like the games aren't even happening. I felt my eyes become a little bit drowsy and I slowly fell asleep. Rem kissed the top of my head."good night Y/N, I love you" i blushed even more at that. "Night remmy,love you too"

I woke to the sound of struggling by me. I looked to see if rem was next to me. He wasent.

I ran out of the shelter and saw him struggling in a net. I grabbed one of his knifes to set him free. After he was free I saw...marvel... i thought he was long gone. (Pretend marvel is from district 3) he the threw a spear and I dodged it,shooting an arrow at him. He fell yo the ground and the cannon shot. I thought rem dodged it too. Until I turned around  and saw the metal rod stuck in his stomach.  He slowly pulled it out and started to fall.

I caught him and laI'd him down on the grass. I had years streaming down my face. Even after being shot with a spear he still had a smile on his face. The same smile I fell in love with years ago. He stroked my cheek as I cried more. "I love you." I love you too." I said my voice cracking. He slowly shut his eyes and the cannon went off.

The hovercraft came to collect his body and do who knows what with it. I thought to myself after crying. If he can't win,neither can I.

I went into the forest to find some nightlocks. I found at least seven. I took them and took a deep breath. "See you soon love" as soon as I ate them I fell to the ground and died. At least now I'll get to be with Remington this way.

(Sebastians point of view)

I watched as rem died on the live broadcast that was mandatory in all districts. I can't believe he's dead. I watched as Y/N fell beside him and cried like a maniac. But who would blame her,we all were they said something before the hovercraft came. Probably I love you. They did love each other but because of this foul world they couldn't be together

He told me before the reaping he wanted to marry her. But now thAt can't happen!
A few seconds later she headed into the forest. She came out with nightlocks. No! (Noooo! My mom,emerson,and I all screamed at the tv in unison. She did it within 3 seconds I heard her cannon go off.

We all huddled together and began crying. I loved Y/N like a sister already. Emerson did as well. Mom loved her like a daughter already. This is a cruel world we live in and because of it the real star crossed lovers can't be together. They're together up there somewhere. We just have to wait and join them when our time comes.

That went from happy to sad real fast! Sorry about that but that's how the movie goes only instead of it being rem who dies it's rue and katniss still lives so she didn't die like you did. But besides that i really like this chapter and i hope you do too.
