(Sebs p.o.v)We were in the studio working on some singles. Side b just came out and were putting some songs out to keep the fans excited. I hear the door open and see y/n walk through the door. "Hey y/n!" We all say."Hey guys!!" She says happily. We continue working.

It's after practice. "Hey y/n, were going out with Daniel and Luis tonight, wanna join?" I ask. "I would but Alex and I are going on a date" she says halfway smiling. I scowl at the name. Alex is her boyfriend. Abusive may i add. She told me. I told her lo leave while she can but is convinced he really loves her.

"Ok. Have fun. Be careful" I say meaning it. "Okay daaaaad" she says playfully rolling her eyes. Little did I know that was the last thing i would ever hear you say.

It was later at night. At least 12. I was about to go to sleep when I hear a frantic knocking on my door. I run to the front door. It's y/n! She's sobbing. Her clothes are a wreck. Her makeup is smudged, and she can barely stand. Oh fuck no!!

I pick her up and carry her to my room. She sobs into my bare chest. I soothe her. "What happened" I ask. H-he di-did so-some-something to m-me. H-he..." She dosent want to say it. Who could blame her. I know what he did. Just by the shapes she's in.

I pull her closer to me. My grip on her strengthens. "I can't believe he would do that to you! What kind of terrible human dose that!" I was angry. She stopped crying for a minute. "Can I stay with you. Just tonight?" She asks "you can stay as long as you want" she buried her head on my chest. I wrap my arms around her in a protective manner.

Years later
Its been years since that happened. Y/ns gone mute. She doesn't say anything to anyone she just smiles,frowns,waves,nods. She 'told' rem and em after it happened when they asked why she didn't talk as much. They had the same reaction I did.

It was after practice. We had agreed to go eat downtown. We all ordered. I ordered for her. She smiled at me "thank you" she signed. "Of course" I replied.

It was a little while later we had all gone home. I lay in my bed staring at the ceiling. I need to think of a way to get her to talk. Even if it's just one word. I want my bestfriend talking again.

I text her and asked her to come over. She arrived and I hugged her. I led her to the couch and we sat down. "Ok so.. y/n. You know how it's been awIle since you've physically talked." She nods "do you think you could try again?"

She thinks about it. She shrugs. "Please y/n. You don't have to say alot. Just talk a little." She sighs and agreed. I cheer and hug her.

It's been a few weeks. She's doing great. She can say all of our names and hers and the basics. We're practicing right now. She's trying to speak but her vocal chords just won't let her. "Maybe were done for the day. She shakes her head and keeps trying. There's only one way to stop her.

I kiss her. It's a surprise to her. She kisses back instantly. We pull apart for air. "Love you sebby. Thank you" she says. Now it's my turn to be surprised. "Love you too y/n. Your welcome. Now she can talk. I love her. More than anything
