one year anniversary (emerson)

I'm back!! Did you miss me!

It was close to the 25 of March. You wonder why that date matters. It matters because that's the day you and Emerson started dating a year ago. You've done so much together in just a year. Youve gone on tour with him,you've been to several art shows supporting him and his work,and of course you've had your first kiss with him and said I kove you to each other.

The thing was,you had to get him something. You knew Emerson and what he likes but you didn't know if that would work for a one year gift. You were clueless so you started a group chat with Remington and Sebastian.

Sebastian:What's up y/n
Rem: do you realise it's ten in the fucking morning?!

Sebastain: rem shut up and treat our soon to be sister with respect!

You smiled at Sebastians words. You and Emerson didn't plan on marrying each other for a couple more years. But he acted like the wedding was tomorrow.

Rem: sorry y/n,what's up?

You:well you see,em and i's anniversary is next week and I don't know what to get him.

Rem:you've been with him for a year and you don't know what to get him

Sebastian:y/n if anything you know him better than us! You know his likes and dislikes so use that to get him a gift. But shall I suggest some sketchbooks,he always needs new ones.

Rem:and some fine point sharpies,those are crucial!

Sebastian: he never says no to a new hat.

Rem: or drumsticks

Sebastain: anything pirate themed will work.

Rem: coconuts!

You:ok,ok I get it. These are wonderful ideas. I better head out now,ttyl.

"Rem: see ya y/n

Sebastian: by for now

You went to find shoes and your keys and headed for Michaels,the mall,and the grocery store.

Once you got everything you headed home and started putting stuff away. You didn't know where to put the coconut so you looked up how to store one.

Once everything was put away you began watching your favorite show on Netflix.

One week later. You were getting everything together when you heard your phone go off

Emmy: hello cherie,how's your day been?

You:good, got some shopping done

That's great.are you still coming over tonight?

Of course I am, on my way.

You changed into a white sleeveless shirt,black pleather pants,a pair of black boots,and a hat similar to emersons.You grabbed the bag and headed to the kropp residents

When you got there you didn't see anyone in the house. You put Emersons present in sebs room and headed outside. "There's the woman of the hour!" Remington called from his place by the pool. Sebastain was sitting at the table on the patio playing his guitar. You gave have both of them a hug. "Where's the gift?" Seb asked. "Its in your room,I hope you don't mind. I would've out it in rems room but that's basically ems second room.

"Its fine,I bet he will love what you got him. Seb said "Thanks for helping me decide what to get him guys." "Your welcome." You continued to talk until you felt a pair of arms wrap around you. You turned your head to see Emerson behind you.

"Hello love" he said. 'Hello my pirate. You gave him a quick kiss. "Oh get a room you too." Rem said. You just laughed. "Lets head inside. I think you two have things for each other. Sebastain said.

The guys sat on the couch as you went to get ems present. You headed to the living room and sat next to Emerson. "Ok so, I would take all the credit for this but your brothers helped me pick out most of it." You handed him the bag. "What's in here,rocks!" "Just open it!"

He opened and pulled out three sketchbooks,2 packs of fine point sharpies,custom made drumsticks with your name on one stick and his name on the other, a new hat, and a coconut. You walked to the fridge and got a gallon of truemoo out. When he had everything pulled out he gave you a hug. "Thank you ma Cherie. I loved everything and I'll be sure to use the drumsticks at warped tour. He gave you a kiss on the cheek.

"Now I didn't get you as much but I hope it still holds just as much value. He gave you a velvet box. Your heart rate increased as you opened it. Inside was a silver heart locket. On the front were Emersons initials. E.B.K. You opened it to see on the left a picture of you and Emerson when you first met when you were both 13 then you saw on the right a picture of you two from just a few months ago.

You closed it and on the back read. 8 amazing years spent with you♡ a tear rolled down your cheek. "For your next present I need everyone to close their eyes. You closed them and awaited what he was giving you. "No peeking remington!" He shouted. You just laughed. You felt shocked when you felt a cold band on your ring finger. "Ok open"

You covered your mouth with your hand. Rem and Seb liked shocked as well. "Now i know what it looks like but it's not. Y/n,this is a promise ring. I promise to love and cherish you,I promise to protect you with all my ability, I promise to love you with all my heart,and I promise that one day I will marry you." Tears streamed down your face as he said this. You saw rem tear up a little bit. You kissed him passionately and broke apart. " I love you." He said "I love you too"
