(Lillies p.o.v) teen years

"I'm sorry Lilly but I'm moving to Ohio because of family and I can't do a long distance relationship" Matthew said as we stood at the front doors of the school. Sohia,raya,and Michael all behind me. Michael had his fist balled. He acted like uncle rem a little too much sometimes.

He went to his car. Leaving me there. Sophia gave me a hug first. Raya hugged me as well. Michael did as well. We headed to my house. All of us.  Emerson and remington would already be there.

When we got there I looked in the mirror. My red sparkly eyesshawdow and eyeliner smudged. "How are you gonna tell aunt y/n and dad?" Raya asked. "I don't know. I feel like dad would try to kill him and mom would just be all lovey towards me. I just hope Damiens here" damien is Daniels adoptive son. Hes basically my bestfriend.

We got inside and there they were. Mom and shy were talking and dad and Daniel were drinking. Damien was messing eith his phone. He saw me and smiled i tried my best to fake smile. Remington noticed me. He looked confused for a minute. He looked at Raya and Micheal. They made a "no" motion with their hands. He left it at that. 

All four of us went to my room and just chilled. Micheal was hanging from the rack in my closet. My closets pretty tall so it wasn't hard. "I swear your basically dad!" Raya said "at least I look like him more than you do!" He was eight. He was basically rems mini me. Raya had her mom's hair and eyes. She dosent like it. Bit if she left when I was three I wouldn't want to look like her either.

Sophia looked like shy but had ems hair and eyes. I had dads hair and one of dads eye colors with my mom's color on the other eye and left handedness but have my mom's personality.

We heard a knock on the door. "Guys foods ready." Mom called from my door. We headed down there. We got our plates and sat down. Then the dreaded question was asked. "So how was school?" Emerson asked. Raya went them Michael then sophia then me. "Mattew and I broke up" I mumbled. They all heard me. They didn't know whst to say. I went to my room and cried.

It's been a few minutes. I heard a knock on my door. "Go away!" I yelled. "Its dad" I sighed and unlocked the door. He closed it and hugged me. I sobbed into his gold and black shirt. He held onto me and let me cry. Once I was done I looked at him. "Lilly I know its hard to lose someone you love. I almost lost your mom the same way. She moved to Illinois for a little bit and I thought i would never see her again. But then she came back a year later. And now we're here. You'll be okay. Besides you have someone that's been there for yoy the whole time.

I thought about what he said. It clicked and I asked with my eyes. "Go ahead. Curfew dosent apply tonight." I thanked him and ran down the block.

I knocked in the door out of breath. Daniel opened it. "Hes in his room" I thanked him and headed up. I knocked on his door. He let me in. He was working on something. I couldn't tell what it was. He looked at me and smiled. He scooted over and let me next to him. I snuggled into his side  "I'm sorry" I said.

"For what?" He asked confused. "For making you my shoulder to cry on and putting you through all this with matthew. I basically friend zoned you"  "It's fine Lilly. I know you liked him alot." "But I liked you too but didn't want to say anything cause i was scared it would ruin this" "I like you too" i laid my head on his shoulder and relaxed.

" It's already 11, shouldn't you be heading home?" "My dad said curfew dosent apply tonight." "Lilly, your dad said you could stay." Daniel said from the door. I nodded and snuggled closer to Damien. He wrapped an arm around me. He turned the light off and just as soon as my head hit his chest I was out
