snow day (remingtom)

Sorry for not updating yesterday. I had really bad writer's block and here's a winter one because i want it to be winter

It was mid January. The streets were blocked off,schools ans work placed shut down. It was perfect. Besides the power running out. I grew up in Maine,so I was used to this weather. My boyfriend Remington on the other hand wasent. It dosent snow alot in California. The power wasent out. Yet.

We sat in the living room watching Harry potter. (As usual) rem had a jar of nutella in front of him. I just laughed at him. "What?" He asked with a laugh. "Oh nothing. Just his how cute you are." After i said that the power went out and immeaditly felt like i was freezing.

Rem ran to the storage under the stairs and grabbed all the blankets. He turned the generator on and lit candles and plced them everywhere in the house. I was coocooned in all the blankets. "You realise I need those too,right?" "But I'm colder than you" my teeth chattering "says the one who was raised in Maine." He said. I sighed and unraveled the blankets from me.

He picked me up bridal style and carried me to our room. He sat me down and ran back to the living room. He returned with dozens of blankets,nutella,lucky charms, and both of our laptops. He handed me my laptop and the lucky charms. He got next to me and turned Netflix on his computer (pretend Netflix dosent require internet). I snuggled into his side. For it only being 20 degrees outside he was surprisingly warm.

It was nearly midnight when I started falling asleep. I rest me head on his shoulder and was out like a light (or our power)

I feel like I'm progressively getting worse.
