"Y/n,come down here a minute please" my dad's voice rand from downstairs. I groaned and left the comfort of my bed and trudged down the thirteen steps that lead to the hallway of downstairs.

I walked into the kitchen and saw my dad sitting at the table."Now honey,theres something I need to tell you" "What is it?" "Your mom and i are getting a divorce." "I just looked at him for a minute. "What..no...why?" Tears formed in my eyes.

"Well,sometimes people fall out of love and they don't want to be together anymore. It happens in marriage all the time." He says. "But you two were so happy!" A sob escapes my lips. "I know honey. Things just happen. We leave next week to Texas."

"What do you mean leave next month for Texas." "Is that where the court date will be?" "No,the court date will be downtown in the courthouse next week." "So you've had this planned for awhile and didn't tell me!" My voice level grew.

"I didn't want you to be upset then." "It would have been better than being upset now!" "Are we moving to texas!" "Yes." "Well im not going!" "Yes you are young lady. You are still 16 and live under my roof so yes. You are coming with me." "I have people I can stay with!" "You are not staying with You r boyfriend and his idiotic brothers!" "This is so unfair!"

I run back up to my room and cry. I don't want to leave california. I love iy here. All my friends are. Mememories are here. Remingtons here.

I open my window and step out into the cool summer night. I close my window and dash to remingtons house.

I knock on the door waiting for an answer. His mom opens the door. "Y/n! Why you here so late at night? Why are you crying?" She asks. "I-I ne-need to talk t-to rem" I say through tears. She nods and let's me in. I pass em and Seb on the way to rems room. They ask me what's wrong. I ignore them and continue to rems room.

I knock on his door. "Come in" he says groggy. "I turn the handle and turn the lamp on. He looks at me and immeaditly wakes up. "Y/n!princess What's wrong?" He scoots over on his bed. I cling myself onto him like a koala. Em and Seb sit on the edge of his bed. Rem shoots them death glares. "No they can stay. They need to know too.

"Whats wrong ma cherie" rem asks again. "My dad's divorcing my mom and making me move to Texas with him." I say. "Their jaws all drop. Rems hold gets tighter on me. "You can stay with us." Em says. "I can't. Im still a minor and he would probably press kidnapping charges." I say with my head buried into rems chest.

"When do you leave?" They all ask at the same time. "Next month exactly" I say. "Well then we're going to spend the whole month together starting right now" Emerson says. I smile. "There's the prettiest smile in the world. "Rem says looking down at me.

It's late in the night at this point. Sebastsin and Emerson go to their rooms. Remington lays down and pulls me on top of him. "Until next month im not letting you go. He holds into me like someone is going to take me from him. "I love you y/n. "I love you too.

Next month
After 30 days of never ending fun and the occasional packing here I am. In front of my house. Moving vans ready to go. Rem stands in front of me. He unclasps his lock necklace. (The one he always wears) He puts it around my neck. "Now people will know you're mine." I smile at him. I hug him furiously. "I love you" I say trying to not let the tears escape. "I love you too. He kissed the top of my head.

"We look at each other one last time. He takes my hand and kisses me. It has so much passion behind it. "I love you my princess." "I love you my vampire" he lets my hand go and i walk to the car. Looking at him one last time for a long.long time.
