pirates life pt.2

I stand in the crows nest looking over the water. Not that I'm concerned about any ships coming our way. I come up here to think sometimes.

It's been a month since I left the silver rose (dad named us after the ship) I miss them honestly. I miss my sister and crew mates. I miss sparky the most. I was close with him. He was basically my brother.

"Good morning,my queen" Emerson says from the deck. "Good morning captain" I say. I head down to the deck. "Thinking again?" He asks. "How'd you know?" "You always go up there to think. Something I've noticed over time." "Where you spying on me on my old ship!" I exclaim

"Actually,it was me. I came back and told him about you. Captain's orders,am i right." Emerson blushe s while I smile.

Sebastain enters from his room. He looks like he hasent slept in ages. He realises how bad he looks and shifts to wolf form. "I see she's still with us" he says grumpily. "C'mon seb,you know how she was treated on the other ship" em says placing a hand in my shoulder.

"What? Like every other first mate is trrates that's female? This may come as a shock to you little brother but woman don't have a place on the ship. The only thing they're useful for is reproduction." Emerson and Remington glare at him. "You just dont want me to have what you lost!" Emerson yells. Seb looks at him. He runs towards him.

Seb goes back to human form. The fight of the brothers brakes loose. Rem and i attempt to brake them apart. We mange to get them away from each other. "I want her gone by sunset." He says. "She dosent leave this ship over my dead body!" "That can be arranged!"

"Both of you settle the fuck down! Sebastain. You go chill out. Em. You come with me!" Remington says.

Its been what feels lime hours. Neither rem or Emerson have come back. Sebastian locked himself in his sleeping quarters. I sit in the crows nest. Once again abserving the water. Someone comes and sits by me. It's Emerson.

He moves a strand of my red hair(another reason my name is rose)
To the side. I smile at him. His eye is black and several cuts clutter his face. "Why dose he not like me?" I ask. He inhales.

  "Let me tell you a story. A long time ago,when we where still on land,Seb met a wolf. She had black fur with splotches of red. When himan,her hai r was half black and half red. They both fell in love. We both liked her. Her dad on the other hand. Didn't like us.

He forbid her from seeing him. That didn't stop her. One thing led to another and they had kids. When her dad found out...thimgs didn't end well. He killed the kids and her. He tried to get seb but failed. That's why he had a scar over his eye and no tail."

I look down. That's awful. I csnt imagine that happening to me. I feel sorry for Seb. "From then on he vowed to never find a mate. He tried the same on us. Rem followed orders. I didn't. Rem didn't want to settle down. He wanted to explore the world and be free. That wasn't my lifestyle. I wanted to find someone. It wasent easy. But now that I'm with you" he takes my hand. "I can do that" "I love you my dear rose" "I love you emerson" he kissed my head. I notice sebastain scowl and flee from the corner he was hid behind.
