Emerson and I were sitting in his room watching the nightmare before Christmas. It was a tradition we had. I would come over on the weekends and we would hang out,watch movies,write song lyrics. Whatever we wished. He was my bestfriend

It was the middle of the movie and he he pulled the classic 'I'm gonna pretend to yawn and wrap my arm around you'. I didn't mind. We always did this. Rem and Seb always make fun of us but oh well.

The movie ended and em went to turn on another one. "Close your eyes" he told me. I just roliked my eyes and closed them. "Okay,open" I open them to see the opening screen for "the nun" on the TV. I jumped at em and playfully hit his arm. "Emmy No! You know i hate scary movies with a passion" I said.

"C'mon y/n. How scary can it be.please, for me. Besides,I'll be right here" he said. I sighed in defeat and agreed.
After movie
I was shaking in my place nest to Emerson on the bed. That movie scared the shit out if me. Emerson looked over at me with concern. "Y/n I'm sorry. I didn't know it would shake you up this bad." I-it's fine em" i say stuttering.

He wraps his arms around me and holds me close to him. He puts two fingers under my chin to lift my head. "I know this isn't the best time to tell you but... I like you" he says.

I just stare at him. I've had a crush on him for the longest time. The moment I've been dreaming about for years is finally coming true.

"I love you too,emmy" I say smiling. He leans closer to me. He kisses me. His lips are warm and soft. Just how i imagined. We pull apart. "Y/n,would  you like to be my girlfriend?" He asks. "I would love to em" i smile snuggling closer to him. He kisses the top of my head. "I love you" he says. "Love you too" i say.
