meeting the family (emerson)

Today was the day you were dreading the most. Your family reunion. Usually you would be excited for your reunion. Seeing all your relatives you havent seen in a while. But this year was different. This year your mom wanted you to bring Emerson.

Your family was a very welcome family. Excepting all your past boyfriends. The only one that  wasn't so welcoming was your brother Pete.

Yes,Pete, The legendary bass player for fall out boy. Emo God and eyeliner slayer wentz was your brother. He didn't trust any of your boyfriends. You were hoping Emerson would change his perspective. After your dad left you two at a young age Pete doubled as your dad and brother.

You were driving to the venue the reunion was being held at. You were playing with your promise ring that Emerson gave you like crazy.

"Y/n,are You ok?" He asks. "Yeah I'm fine" you say. "Are you sure, you play with your ring when your nervous." I'm just nervous about my family." You say honestly. "Its okay Y/N I can take your parents." "My parents aren't the ones I'm nervous about. Pete is"

"Y/n I'm sure I can handle your brother." "He's never liked any of my boyfriends" "Well todays the day that changes.

You arrived to the venue the reunion was happening at. You walked inside to be met with your cousins,aunts,uncles,almost every member of your family"you didn't tell me you're family was this big" he said shocked. "Yeah,reproduction runs rampant in my family." You say laughing.

You made your way through family member after family member. You introduced Emerson to every member you ran into. You were about to go and find your parents when you saw heads of blonde curls and shaggy brown running your way.

Auntie Y/N!! The boys screamed to you. The smaller ran into your arms while the older one side hugged you. "Hey, saint,Bronx." You said happily as you hugged your nephew's. "Saint  hid his face in your neck and Bronx held your hand while they looked at Emerson. Y/n who's this?" The blonde asked. "This is my boyfriend Emerson. Emerson this is Bronx and saint. Pete's kids." He smiled at them."I like your hat" saint said. "Thank you. I like your name" Emerson said. "Okay guys,do me a favor and go find your dad.

They ran off to find Pete. "Is it a bad thing to ask why they look totally different?" He asked "no, Bronx is from Pete's first marriage to Ashley Simpson. Saint is from his current relationship with Megan camper." You answered.

"I didn't know you had a thing for pirates sis." You heard your brothers voice. You gave him a hug. Megan was behind him. You side hugged her because of her baby bump. "How far along are you,tell me its a girl." You said. "Seven months,and yes it's a girl." You squealed like a child. Emerson awkwardly stood there.

"Oh yeah,Pete,megan,this is emerson. Emerson,this is Pete my brother and megan,my sister in law. (Pretend they're married) Pete just looked at him with a sceptical look. "Why dont you come with me emerson." Your brother said. Fear shot through your body.

Megan brought you to one of the tables for a little 'girl talk'. She looked at your hand and smiled wide."before you ask, no, it's a promise ring." You said with a laugh. "Man,i was really hoping for another wentz wedding." You just laughed and talked with Megan until saint came and sat in your lap. Bronx sat next to meagan.

"Where's dad?" Bronx asked. "He's talking to Emerson" you said. "Dosent that make you a little bit nervous y/n?" Megan asks. "It does,but I really hope Emerson changes his perspective on all my other boyfriend's. "Is he gonna be our uncle Y/N?" Saint asked innocently. "Maybe one day saint."

You waited for the guys to come back. "There you are y/n I was looking everywhere for you." Your mom's voice rang. "Hey mom." You gave her  a hug. "Wheres your brother?" You're mom asked. "Hes talking to Emerson." "Isn't that your new boyfriend?" "Yes mom" your mom asked about your ring. You told her it was just a promise ring

Before you could say anything else you saw Pete and Emerson come to the table. Em had a smile on his face and so did Pete. That brought relief to you. You introduced Emerson to your mom. Of course,she loved him right away

Later on you guys decided to head home. The boys asked of if they could come and stay with you and emerson later this week. You both didn't mind and said it was up to Pete and Megan. They didn't see a problem with it. Pete gave you a hug and whispered something  in your ear. "I like this one. Don't lose him. You just smiled. "Thanks Pete." No problem sis.

"Emerson" Pete called. He looked at Pete. "Remember what i told you" he just nodded and you went to your car.
While driving you asked Emerson about what Pete told you. "Well when he saw your promise ring he asked if it was an engagement ring. I said no and he told me that if I wanted to marry  you I had his blessing." You just smiled. Thank you for changing his perspective." "Your welcome ma Cherie. I love you." "I love you too.

That was cute. I loved this one. I just realized how many updates I did today. I did alot. Two of them were requests so i didn't mind doing them.
By for now my loves💙
