It's been a semester and your still failing in your calculus class. Everyone was making 100s and high grades. And here you are. Making a 40.
You had just turned in your semester test. The professer called out the students and grades. "Samantha,90 Cole,85,chloe,93,ryan,68,emma,99,Emerson,100,y/n,32"
You put your head down in embarrassment as everyone made a higher grade than you. The worst part is that now your crush knows how stupid you are. Emerson in other words.
You never understood it. Emerson's always been good at math. You envied him for it. Both of his brothers are like that as well. Yo Uve known them since elementary school.
"Emerson,since you made the highest grade i want you helping y/n be fire the next test. You have the rest of tye semester." He nodded at the professer and looked at you. You blushed at both him and the embarrassment.
After lessons you scrambled to get out of there as it was the last class of yhe day. Emerson caught up with you.
"Hey y/n. Want to come over and work on the test?" "Sure" you walked outside to his car and got in.
After the short ride you went to his room and got to work.kinda. You got on your phone. Only for Emerson to snatch it. "Emersonnnnn" you said in a whiney voice. "Y/nnnnn" he mimicked you. "No phone until we finish. Got it?" You sighed and nodded in agreement.
After what felt like hours of studying you still didn't understand it. "Ugh! This is impossible!" You said falling back on the bed. "No its not. You judt have to think." "I've been thinking but nothing is working!" "Okay let's brake it up into sections. He pointed to the next problem

He explained to me how to set up the problem. Once he did that my pencil flew across the paper. I finished and looked at him hopeful.
He looked amazed at my work. "Your right!" I was so excited after he said that. I hugged him tightly. He hugged me back. I pulled away and blushed. He smiled at me. "Hey y/n,your mom's here" Seb said from outside the door. I shouted okay and my stuff. Em hugged me again. You just have to believe in yourself. That's what helps you exceed the most. I nodded and headed outside.
After the last semester test The teacher again called out grades for the test.
"Samantha,100,cole,80,chloe,100,ryan,70,emma,89,Emerson,100,y/n...100" I was so happy. After class I literally jumped on Emerson in a hug. "Thank you thank you sooo much for helping me pass!" I say. "Your welcome y/n. Im so proud of you. He smiled at me.
So...uh...this is off topic but i should probably tell you." I say. "What's thst?" He says raising an eyebrow.
I...uh..um...well... ilikeyoualotivejustbeentoscaredto tellyouinperson!" I said really fast. He blinked a few times to process what I was saying. "I like you alot too y/n" I smile d and blushed. "So,will you be my girlfriend" "yes" he took my hand and we walked to his car.
