remember pt.6 (finale)

I was sitting in my dorm room talking to my roommate Claire. She was a year ahead of me. She was pretty cool.

We were talking about the upcoming spring fling. A prom style dance for all years. Then my phone went off

E: Hello?

Shy: Emory! It's me,you need to get to the hospital right now!"

E: "what? Why!" She sounded like she was crying.

Shy: turn on the t.v channel seven"

Breaking news: "the well known fashion art rock band palaye royale has just gone through a tragic wreck." They showed clips of the wreckage. My heart dropped. My families on that bus. "The passengers included 44 year old Sebastian Danzig, 42 year old Remington leith,40 year old Emerson barret,and 43 year old Daniel Curcio. Everyone is alive,but Emerson Barret who is in critical condition.

I got my keys and drive to the hospital as fast as the speed limit would allow.

I got there and found shy. We asked for their rooms. The lady said what room they were in and let us in. I first went to dad and rems room. Rem just had a few scratches and a broken arm. Dad on the other hand...

He had countless machines attached to him. You could barely see him through all the wires and machines. He was asleep at the moment. "Docterd say he's in a comma. He won't wake up for a while" rem said. I cried and held his hand. "You know,he always talked about you. How proud of you he was. How lucky he was to raise you...." I cried more.

I looked at his heart monitor. It was perfect. Until it wasn't. I saw it go from jagged lines to flatline. "Dad...dad...dad no!!!!" I screamed the nurses and docters rushed in. I had leave. "What's wrong" shy had just come out of seb and Danny's room.

"Dad...hes...hes" I broke out in tears. "Oh,Emory. I'm so sorry" she was crying too. We held on to each other for what felt like eternity. I then felt a presence behind me. I smiled. "Hey mom" "hi em"

I then called lucas. We still stay in touch. We broke up because neither one of us could handle a long distance relationship.

E: hey Lucas

L: hey em. I saw the news. I'm so sorry

E: I don't know what I'm gonna do now

L: I wish I could be there

E: same

L:I love you

E: I love you too

We hung up. I went to go see my other uncles.

After everyone was released we had dads funeral. Tears were shed. Memories were shared. Family I havent seen in years was there. It was a sad gloomy day. 

(Ems p.o.v)
I woke up in some weird place. A jet black sky with Victorian buildings. I had on what I would normally wear. I'm in the void. In the distance I saw someone. As they came closer I realised who it was. "Y-y/n?" "Hey Emmy" "oh,my flower,it's you!" "I've missed you so much" "I've missed you too"

"Emory! I left Emory down there" "she'll be okay. She's got rem,seb,danny,and shy." "We're both dead. She'll have to stay with Sebastain. He's the oldest." "We'll figure all that out later. Let's go visit her."

(Emorys p.o.v)
I can't believe it. Both my parents are gone. Who am I gonna stay with when summer comes along. This is all terrible.

The room then becomes colder than usual. Odd. Usually it's just a chill when mom comes to visit.  I look up and see Mom and Dad. "Hello my pirate girl" "Hey dad." "Are you okay?" "Mom asks me. "I'm still trying to except that it's real" I say. "It doesn't feel real and it's not gonna feel real for a while. You just have to move on with your life like normal." "That's gonna be hard" "I know. You have to promise us you will get better soon" "Of course" "We love you Emory." " I love you guys too"

They then vanish into nothing
