new years (emerson)

Ah new years eve. The last day of the year. What a better way to spend it than with friends,family,food,fireworks,and champagne. So far that's how my new years eve had been. Besides spending time with Emerson. I really wanted to but with both of us hosting the party I havent had a single minute alone with him.

Every two minutes I'm either getting dragged away by someone or having someone call me from the other side of the room.

It was currently 11:30pm. Thirty minutes to midnight. I was walking around the party,you know,hosting
I saw Sebastian and walked over to him. "Have you seen emerson!?" I sreamed over the loud music. "I think He went outside!" He screamed back. I tried to get to the backyard. Only to be stopped by y/bf/n. "Heeey y/nnnnn" she said drunkenly. "Y/bf/n go home your way past your limit."

"Girl,I'm fine. I can handle myself" I just rolled my eyes. I led her to one the guest room that had an attached bathroom. Just incase. After I left I checked the time. 11:50 ugh. I havent seen him all night. I went to the front yard to take a break. Someone sat beside me. I didn't bother to see wgo it was until I saw the hat.

"Happy New year's cherie" he said taking my hand in his. "Happy New year's pirate." The front door opened and out came Remington. "Guys come on the balls about to drop!" He rs n back inside. We looked through the window into our house. The countdown started.

15,14,13 he pulled me closer to him.

12,11,10,9,8. He caressed my cheek.

7,6,5,4,. He leaned in

3,2,1. He kissed me. After all the other kisses we have shared. This one felt the most special.

Another amazing year with my amazing boyfriend.
