This is inspired by a series by Vaporeon700 in her book remington Leith imagines. All her Brooks are great and i recommend checking them out.

It was eighth period art. I was sitting by my desk partner Derek. "Since its been three months since i last did a seating arangment I thought i would make a new one. Here are your new partners. (Random names btw) emma and Sarah. Jake and awsten  (waterparks trash right here) Mackenzie and max, y/n and emerson" she walked back to her desk.

My heart was racing! Ive had the biggest crush on Emerson since the sixth grade. He didn't know of course. He came and sat beside me and Mrs what's her name began instructing. "Hi" he whispered. "Hi" I replied. "How are you" good" he nodded at my response and listened to her.

It was the end of class. The teacher had given is an assignment. We were to make a city and its way of transportation and people. We were only allowed to do it at home. "Do you want to come over snd work. I'm sure my brothers won't mind" he said as we walked toward the exit. "Sure"

We met up with his brothers Remington gave me a side hug. We were good friends. "You know each other?" Emerson said "yeah we have science and algebra together." He just nodded and we all piled into sebs car.

We were in the living room. The guys were playing Mario kart. "Shouldn't we be working on our rough sketches?" "We can work on them later. At least have fun and play one game" he pouted and handed me a controller. "Ok fine" we played two games then we headed to his room to work on the sketches. I was sketching a city in the middle of the ocean. I put  hot air balloon around it as the transportation besides walking. I saw Emerson staring at me. I blushed and kept working

Once i finished the draft I showed him "omg y/n this is amazing!" Thanks" I blushed again. We worked a little later until it got dark and had to head home. "Let me drive you" he said. "Okay" we got to my house and he walked me to the front door. "I had fun y/n,we should hang out more." "Yeah defitinly!" "Tomorrow after school?" "Yeah" he waved goodbye as I headed inside.

It's been a few weeks. Emerson and i have been hangimg out alot recently. Hes really cool. Im starting to like him more and more. We turned in our piece. We named the city elypsa (is that close to how its spelled) the tEscher handed them back. We got an A!!! I hugged Emerson. Only quickly pulling back. I blushed. He smiled at me.

Two months later

It was winter break. I was hanging out with the guys at their house. Their pool had frozen over completely. Remington had the bright idea of skating across it. I grabbed some skates and pulled them on. I've never Ice skated beofore so it was a little tricky. I fell a few times. Emerson gracefully skated across the ice  like it was no big deal. As i wobbled he came over to me. "Need some help?" He asked raising an eyebrow" "please" he grabbed my hand and i once again blushed. We slid across the ice. I smiled the whole time.

We went inside and sat by the fire place. I sat next to Emerson. He kept looking at me. I started to feel really self conscious. He them looked st his brothers and the left. Weird. He moved closer to me. He put his arm around my shoulders. I blushed again!!

Y/n,we've been friends for awhile now. I've really grown to like you as a friend but maybe a little bit more. My heart was racing as i hoped what he was saying was true. "Y/n, will you be my girlfriend?" I was surprised. I just nodded. He leaned in and kissed me. Fireworks went off in my stomach. It was the best feeling ever. Who wouldve thought one little seat change could change your life.

I'm so sore!! Off-season is not fun
