Aaliyah fixed her dress for what seemed like the thousandth time since she'd finally decided to wear it instead of a pair of ripped jeans.

"Babe? You done up there, we don't wanna be late now" Zion said as he entered the bedroom

He stared at Aaliyah in awe as she turned around to meet her lovers gaze. Zion always thought Aaliyah was breathtaking, regardless of what she was wearing at that point in time. He gave her a gentle smile before pulling her into a hug

"You look gorgeous princess" he smiled
"Thank you" she smiled back
"Now let's get this party started" he said grabbing her hand

Aaliyah nervously trailed behind him. Entering the car and not saying a word.

The entire trip consisted of the radio playing softly in the background, and silence between the two. Mostly because Aaliyah was too engrossed in her thoughts and worries to pay attention

As they pulled up to the Kuwonu household Aaliyah wiped her sweaty hands on her dress and took a deep breath. Zion noticed her nervousness and took her hands into his own

"There is no need to be nervous, their gonna love you!" He said
"That's the thing Zion! What if they don't? Then what?"
"Then that's them..." he said simply
"Zion I don't wanna come between you and your family-
"And you won't" he reassured

He gently gave both her hands a kiss before laying a short sweet one on her lips

"Now let's go meet your in laws Li"

Zion knocked on the door and before they knew it they were being pulled into the house.

"Awww my babyboy came to visit me!" Zion's mom said giving Zion multiple kisses
"Mooom" Zion whined
"Fine I'll stop" she said
"This is-
"The gorgeous wife Aaliyah you won't shut up about" Zion's mom interrupted pulling Aaliyah into a hug
"It's finally nice to meet the woman of my sons dreams" she smiled
"It's nice to meet you too Mrs Kuwonu" Aaliyah gushed
"Oh dear call me Mrs K" Mandy smiled
"Mom Elom- Oh yaas girl that dress and those shoes together are giving me life! Who styled you?" A girl asked
"Oh I did" Aaliyah blushed
"Wow you have amazing style! I'm Zion's sister by the way" she smiled
"Zion's Girlfriend" Aaliyah greeted
"And I am the O.G Mr Steal your girl" a boy said pushing Kekelí to the side
"Boy- ain't it past your bedtime?" Aaliyah asked making everybody laugh
