Here Bri sat, a smile plastered on her face as she watched as the once love of her life Nicholas Carter Mara speak of how much he loved his now soon to be wife Alexys, in front of a crowd of friends, family and BEANZ. She watched as the single year fell from his cheek as they shared their vows.

"Does anyone here object to their love, speak now or forever hold your peace" the priest spoke

Bri felt many eyes upon her, it was no secret that the two were exes, matter of fact many thought it would be her up there sharing the moment that would spark the rest of their companionship, yet here she sat, witnessing it and not participating in it. Bri sat at the open bar, watching the wedding unfold. She wasn't mad or even the slightest bit sad. She was overjoyed, the love of her life was now finally happy. It wasn't with her but he was happy and that was the aim of the game. As she watched Nick take Alexys' hand. She couldn't help but think back to their relationship

It was picture perfect, their love was like some sort of fairytale love, a love no one could break. That was until one day she found out Nick had cheated on her with his wife. She was crushed but that four letter word told her to push through and give him another chance and what a fool she had been because Bri had left the country for work and came back early to find Nick engaging in some sinful activities in their bed.

"You did nothing wrong, all you did was make me realise what I was doing to you, I was holding you hostage in a relationship where only I was giving love. I was holding you back from truly loving Alexys with all your heart and publicly." She said looking him in the eye "that taught me to be more considerate of others, taught me my self worth and boosted my confidence up weirdly enough. Bri gave Nick a kiss on the cheek, thanked him for the invite before congratulating him and walking off. Where to? Only time would tell
