You looked at the pregnancy test in your hands. How the hell were you guys gonna deal with another baby. That meant going through the "teething faze" the "terrible twos" and many other fazes you thought you were done with!

"So when are we gonna tell her?" Edwin asked
"Rather let's not tell her but present it as an idea and see how she'll like it?" You suggested

And as if on cue, your 4 year old daughter burst through the door, singing the Barney song

"Well there is no time like the present right" you smiled weakly before getting up to greet your daughter downstairs

With Edwin trailing behind you, you scooped the happy little girl into your arms, asking her how her day was while you made lunch

"Then there is this boy, Cameron, he threw sand at me, then I punched him" Melody said proudly
"Melody! That is not nice!" You scolded
"That's my babygirl" Edwin praised making you glare at him "I- I mean, that was bad Mel!" Edwin stuttered making you smile
"Anyways, a plate of Dino chicken nuggets for my princess" you said handing her the plate

While you guys ate, Edwin nudged you to tell her

"So Mel, I was thinking.... how would you like a baby brother or sister" you asked
"Oh no thank you mommy, three is enough, three is a perfect family. I like me, you and daddy together nobody else. Okay maybe Uncle Austin but nobody else! Did you know a triangle is the strongest shape mommy? So nope!" She said before walking off to her room leaving you and Edwin stunned

"Well, this little baby has some warming up to do to their sister" Edwin laughed before collecting the dishes
