Aaliyah sighed as she looked at the tall Canadian boy dance. The way his tongue darted out of his mouth to wet his lips before he bit his bottom one in concentration. She watched as his body moved smoothly to the beat

"You're staring again" Edwin said sitting down next to the girl, snapping her out of her unholy thoughts
"W-what! No! I'm just carefully observing" Aaliyah said collecting herself
"In other words, stalking him" Austin said joining the conversation
"Just in person" Edwin pointed out
"Was she staring at Zion again?" Nick asked
"Yup" the two boys answered
"Okay! Look I was not! I was just-

"Except I don't understand why you don't ask him out? Is it not. The era where the ladies take over?" Nick said
"Yeah girl just ask him out" Brandon yelled from across the studio where he was dancing with Zion

"He could reject her, laugh in her face, walk out and mock her" Austin listed
"Oh and did he mention... REJECT ME!" Aaliyah yelled
"Were you not the one who told me to shoot my shot with Char?" Brandon asked her

"So there is your hoop, shoot your shot girl!" Edwinsaid before pushing the girl towards Zion who caught her

"Woah there" Zion laughed
"H-ey Z" Aaliyah stuttered mentally scolding herself for stuttering
"Hey Li" Zion smiled
"L-l I- uhm I- you know what fuck it! Zion would you like to go to Mc Donald's after this? Like a date" Aaliyah blurted

She opened her eyes to see Zion smiling down at her before he turned and walked away, her heart sank as she watched him turn the corner without uttering a word to her. She hung her head and began to walk to the group of sad boys who witnessed it all

"Where you going Li? You owe me a date at Mc Donald's" Zion said behind her causing her to whip her head to be met by him holding his jacket in his hand
"Oh yeah! Lemme grab my bag" Aaliyah said excitedly
"Told ya" the boys said
"Shut up"
