Zamauri sighed for what seemed like the 500th time in a minute.

She stood bare in front of her mirror. Her eyes trailed her figure once more as her eyes stung. Tears threatening to spill.

Her hands trailed her breasts. She hated how they would flap like dogs ears. How they got in the way of her chest bumping her brother during games, or how they would hurt when she was on her period and especially how they prevented her from sleeping on her stomach.

They went down the trail her curves, those damn huge ass curves. The same curves that ripped dozens of her jeans. The same curves that got in the way of her moving through the mall or small spaces.

They then fell to her sides as she examined her thighs. Her thunder thighs as she called them. The exact same thoughts that were ridden with lines and lines of stretch marks.

"Z! You ready! We leave now so we can get there on time!" Zion said from downstairs snapping Zamauri out of her pity party

She wiped her tears away feverishly and looked at the one price she had laid out for the beach festival they were going to.

"Z, talk to me... why don't you wanna go?" Zion said softly sitting down next to his sister

Mauri took a deep breath and let silence settle between the group. The tone in which her brother had asked her was so gentle so invitin. And before you knew it Mauri burst into tears.

"I didn't mean to make you cry sis" Zion said engulfing his sister in a hug
"It's not you- gosh why are you guys even friends with me?" Mauri cried
"What do you mean?" Zion asked
"I'm just one ugly fatass whale that's fricken talentless as fuck! I'm just a burden to you guys and-
"STOP!" Zion yelled making everyone jump
"Zamauri Kuwonu I will not sit here and listen to you talk sit about yourself! You are absolutely gorgeous! If it weren't for you I would have never moved to LA! I would have never started doing covers had it not been for you! And remember that amazing price you wrote in the Times about not adding the "s" in LGBTQ? That clearly shows you are not a burden or some talentless person" Zion said

"And you are not ugly! Zamauri you have one of the most structured faces I have ever seen, you have the softest brown eyes" Brandon said
"And lips" Austin chimed
"And lips! My god and your skin! So clear and just the right amount of chocolate with just a hint of caramel" he continued

"Your body! Let's not get started on it cause we most proberbly won't stop!" Austin said
"You have curves to die for! My god your boobs are shaped just right and your thighs are heavenly" Edwin said
"My thighs are just filled with stretch marks" Mauri grumbled

"Let's ditch this festival, I mean we have music, a pool and great company! We could have our own festival" Nick said
"Minus the sweaty bodies rubbing against each other" Austin said
"And the sand between your toes" Brandon said
"It doesn't mater what type of shoe you wear you always end up with sand in your toes!" Edwin said frustrated
"Okay y'all the ladies are on their way!" Nick said
"I'll go get the meat ready" Zion said rushing to the kitchen

Zamauri excused herself and made her way to her brother, who she hugged from behind.

"Thank you so much" she whispered
"Anything for my lil sis" Zion smiled
"Hey no PDA next to the chicken" Austin laughed
