You smiled as you stood next to Zion waiting for your daughter to appear.

"Okay Kayla! You can come out now" Zion yelled holding the camera ready
"Hold your horses dad" She said as she turned the corner

Immediately your hands flew up to your mouth. She looked gorgeous as her black robe sat perfectly on her shoulders before flowing down her body, and her cap stood tilted at the correct angle as to not mess up her perfectly braided hair. She gave you a pearly white smile through her perfectly Matt brown lips.

"So how do I look?" She asked as she gave a twirl before posing for Zion to take a picture
"Mom?" She asked

You sniffed as you chocked back a sob before letting your hands fall. You opened your arms to which Kayla happily walked in to give you a tight hug

"I don't think I'm ready mommy" she said into your shoulder
"You're ready baby. I promise" You whispered back
"Aww my two babies" Zion said mockingly wiping his eyes earning a playful smack from you and an eye roll from Kayla

"So you promise to make it to the ceremony?" Kayla asked once she wiped her eyes
"If your dad can work a car then yes" You smiled
"Hey I can work a car! It's not the first time I drive" Zion said
"Alright Mr Egypt isn't in Africa" you mocked
"That was a mistake!" Zion huffed
"Like that time you forgot to bring the cake to my party?" Kayla said raising her eyebrows
"Or that time you forgot to bring pants to my prenats pool party?" You said crossing your arms
"Okay okay, geez make one mistake here and it haunts you forever" Zion mumbled
"And don't forget it baby" you smiled giving him a kiss on the cheek

Just then a honk was heard making Kayla scramble to fetch her bag. She ran to give you both a kiss before dashing out

"Who was that?" Zion asked
"Oh it's just Chase" you said walking upstairs to get ready
"Chase as in- her boyfriend Chase?" Zion questioned
"What other Chase is there she knows?" You said waking into your shared room

Zion absolutely hated Chase and thought my he wasn't good enough for his princess. Zion thought he was some chancer. His blood boiled at the thought of the boy, so he grabbed the car keys and tip toed to the door but froze at the sound of his wife's voice

"PUT THOSE KEYS DOWN AND COME GET READY"
