Aaliyah sighed as she stared at the ceiling, processing everything that had just happened.

It was just a normal day when Aaliyah got a call from her best friend Ray asking her to come to the PM pool party, she was about to decline when her bestie begged and twisted her arm to come. She sighed as she agreed and grabbed a swimsuit and some flops and made her way to the PM house.

She knocked and let out a sigh of relief when Ray opened the door. She engulfed her in a hug as she led her to the backyard where Nick was grilling and Edwin was working the drinks while Brandon was working the music and Austin's pale ass was tanning. She smiled as she greeted them.

So far it was all good for the first 2minutes.

Until Zion emerged from the pool. His abs glistening with water as his dreads hung loosely across his eyes. His swim shorts clung tightly to his toned legs as he grabbed a towel and walked over to Ray and gave her a kiss

She gulped as she felt her heart do backflips at the sight of the Canadian but that feeling was soon replaced by the feeling of hurt. For a long time Aaliyah had a crippling crush on Zion and she had told Ray as a best friend and not a week later Ray stood in front of her best friend telling her Zion had asked her out. In a fit of rage Aaliyah asked Ray why she hasn't declined, she simply confessed her secret crush on the boy. Aaliyah felt a volcano of anger boil within her but smiled because she had to be happy for her bestfriend

Aaliyah felt her eyes sting as she recalled the painful memories but blinked before walking into the house to change. After a while she walked out to find the Canadian looking at her with hungry eyes. She simply smiled at him and walked towards Edwin

"You know he likes you right?" Edwin said to Aaliyah
"Yeah, and I like Cacti" Aaliyah said sarcastically

Through the day Aaliyah felt Zion's eyes on her, burning a whole in her as though he wanted her to know something.

As the day came to a close the group had moved inside. They were setting the movie up when a fight broke between the couple

"Really Zion!?" Ray yelled
"I swear baby!" Zion yelled back
"Oh so you can look me in the eye and tell me you were not eying my best friend up and down the whole day and totally neglecting your girlfriend?" Ray asked Zion

Zion looked down without saying a word

"You are unbelievable Zion! You know what, I'm outta here" Ray said grabbing her things and walking out

Zion sighed before spotting Aaliyah standing in the doorway. He felt an anger boil within him and for no reason this anger was directed towards the woman he truly loved

"Z, I'm so sorry" Aaliyah whispered
"All you've wanted to do all your life was ruin mine! You can't beat to see me happy so you wanna ruin anything that makes me happy!" Zion yelled
"Excuse me?!" Aaliyah question
"You heard me!? You came here and dressed up in some skimpy ass bikini knowing very well I wouldn't be able to keep my eyes off you." Zion said
"Maybe if you were loyal you wouldn't have an issue with my skimpy ass bikini" Aaliyah spat
"Maybe if you didn't try and get my attention I wouldn't have to not look.... what do you like me or something.?" Zion said in disgust
"Maybe..." Aaliyah said looking at the floor
"WELL GET THIS INTO YOUR HEAD! I DO NOT LIKE YOU AALIYAH I AM VERY MUCH HAPPY WITH RAY! NOW CAN YOU STOP TRYNA BREAK US UP BECAUSE ME AND YOU IS NEVER GONNA HAPPEN!" Zion yelled

Aaliyah was broken.

She turned on her heel, collected her things and drove back home

Which brings us to where she is now. Staring into space, her mind rerunning the day over and over again as the tears rolled down her cheeks. She wiped them when she heard her phone ring besides her
