Honestly.... I suck at updating on the regular

Pacing around the room you racked your brain with many solutions on how to face the current problem at hand, and like the past 5 million ones that you had previously thought of this one had also been thrown in the recycle bin.

The door opened making your head snap towards it. There walked your husband of 6 years, Zion. You were overjoyed, not because of his presence but because you would gladly hand your problem over to him. Zion's smile was immediately wiped off his face when he saw the look of distress on your face. After explaining the problem at hand, Zion sighed and got up

"Where is he?" He asked
"In his room" you answered looking down

He began walking in the direction of the room, bracing himself of what was to come before opening the door. Greeted by the sight of your 6 year old son playing with his building blocks

"Hey buddy" Zion said making his head snap in your direction
"Daddy!" He squealed running into Zion's arms

You awed at the sight, a father and son bonding moment, but the actions that were to happen afterwards made your stomach drop.

"So I came in here to talk to you buddy" Zion said setting the little boy on his lap. He looked at you, as you motioned for him to continue
"So I heard you were playing in my things" Zion said "you know what happens when you do that"

The little boy looked up at Zion, his lip quivered as his eyes brimmed with tears. He was on the brink of a whine but Zion shot him a look that told him not to even try his luck today

"Yes dada" he said sadly hanging his head
"Good, now I have to take these and you'll get them back next week okay" Zion said collecting his toys

Something in you wanted to make Zion drop all your little boys toys and just play with him but another thing told you to be assertive with him. You were raising a man and no man was raised by getting his way in life. You have Leon one last look before dashing out of the door.

"I'm proud of you" Zion said laying a kiss on your head
