You were washing dishes when Nick walked in. You whipped around to give him a "hello" kiss when he ducked your embrace and grabbed an apple mumbling a "hello" before jogging upstairs. Leaving you saddened

Saddened.

Not stunned.

Why?

Cause Nick has been cold towards you since he came back from tour. He's been sleeping in, which you blamed on lack of sleep because of tour, he's been on his phone a lot which you blamed on his work schedule but what woke you up was the amount of late nights he was having, which by instinct you blamed on his line of work until you called Brandon up to find out where Nick was and to your surprise he spoke to you in a groggy tone which indicated that he had just awoken from a deep slumber

The workaholic

...was sleeping

And Nick wasn't.

Now you were suspicious.

You were snapped out of your thoughts by the door slamming indicating Nicks departure from the house. You heard his engine roar before he sped off into the distance. You sighed as you dried your hands off and headed upstairs.

Nick arrived to the sight of your bags loaded into your car. He shrugged not caring to question the matter. He entered to see you dressed and sitting on the last suitcase playing with the keys of the house you both purchased

"Where you going" Nick asked
"Oh he speaks!" You said in a shocked tone
"If we're gonna play games then-
"Rich comming from you Mara" you said calmly playing with the keys
"Excuse me?" Nick asked
"Don't play dumb with me Mara, you know exactly what I mean" you said
"I don't think you mean-
"Oh Y/N knows what Y/N means" you said jiggling the keys
"Can you stop playing and get out with it"
"I'm tired Nick, I'm tired of running around after you like some love sick puppy when it's crystal clear you no longer love me!" You said getting mad
"Y/N you know I love you" Nick said comming closer
"Can YOU stop playing around and tell me the honest truth" you said getting annoyed with his lies
"Y/N-
"When was the last time we were intimate Nick?" You asked calmly
"What do you-
"WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME WE HAD SEX NICK!? When was the last time you held me up against the wall and devoured my neck? Chocked me while you slammed mercilessly into me? Marked me up like I was yours? Left me unable to walk the next day? Huh Nick?" You huffed

Nick remained silent, looking everywhere but where he was meant to.

"Exactly." You said dropping your arms "You're a very sexual man, and if you arn't getting it from me lord knows where you're getting it from" you continued
"Do you really think I'd cheat on you?!" Nick said getting pissed
"Wouldn't put it passed you" you shrugged
"Oh my gosh Y/N" Nick huffed throwing his hands in the air
"The late nights? The late phone calls? The up and going at 2am? The constant typing and giggling like a school girl? What's that huh Nick? Don't you dare fuck with me and tell me it's work cause we both know it isn't" you said pointing at him

Once again silence settled between you causing you to get up and fix your outfit. Since Nick had been distant you made no effort to dress up so this was the first time in a while Nick had seen you looking so pretty and to be honest he was regretting his actions

"I'm tired of feeling numb Nick, all I feel nowadays is sadness and hatred for myself. I'm tired of questioning myself and doubting myself. So I think is best we end this. 4years well spent. I wish you all the best" you said
"Y/N please don't do this" Nick cried
"I'm moving back to NY, the house is in your name and my belongings are all packed" you continued as you packed the last bag
"Y/N please" Nick whispered as you pulled out of the driveway and drove off
"Please don't leave me."
