I slowly turned the key in the door and opened making sure not to make a sound that would wake my wife and kids. I tip toed my way to the stairs but stopped midway when the lights flicked on. I heard a slow clap and turned to see my wife sitting in a chair in the dark corner. She stopped and gave me a look I couldn't quiet discribe but sent chills down my spine

"You almost had me fooled Kuwonu" she said
"Wha-
"Oh cut the crap! The whole "I love you" "marry me" crap, was all just a cover up huh? To cover up the dirty truth that lies underneath that charming smile" she continued
"Y/N I don't understand" I said confused
"Oh you don't understand" she mocked "well maybe this will help you understand" she said grabbing two duffel bags and opening them
"Shit" I mumbled
"Shit is correct!" She yelled
"Zion how could you?" She asked me tears making their way to her eyes
"How could you risk our lives like this? Huh?" She asked
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get myself into this business it just happened" I said
"You mean you just fell into the drug business!? Zion I asked around and you are the most feared gangster out there! Do you care to explain!" She asked more feverishly
"I-I- I can't" I said looking down at my shoes
"Well maybe you'll be able to explain to the cops" she said confusing me

Before she could answer cop cars were parked outside our home. I tried to run out the back door but it was locked. I ran over to her to see her standing in the same spot

"Police!" An officer said before running over to me and cuffing me
"You have the right to remain silent, anything you say or do shall be used against you in the court of law. You have the right to a lawyer, if you don't have one the state will provide one for you" an officer said to me

I looked back at Y/N to see her staring at me with tears streaming down her face

"Why?" I asked
"It's for the safety of our children Zion" she said
