Zion looked at his best friend from across the room, Lani. As she smiled intently at her boyfriend who was paying her no mind at all.

Zion never liked Leon, not only because he had now claimed the girl he had loved all his life but because he didn't treat Lani the way she is supposed to be treated. He treat her like shit, Lani would often call Zion in tears over Leon's actions and she would swear each and every time that she was done and like each and every time Lani would go crawling back to Leon. "Claiming" to love him.

Zion was snapped out of his thought by Lani's presence next to him. He looked at her as she flashed him a smile, a smile that clearly screamed "HELP ME".

"Where's Lion" Zion said
"Leon" Lani corrected "and he's gone"
"Where to" he said blandly
"Don't know, he just got a call and up and left" Lani shrugged playing with the hem of her shirt

Zion looked at his broken best friend, grabbed her hand and hauled her into his car off to a day of absolute needed bliss

"Remember when you punched Jack Correner in the corridors in 8th grade" Lani laughed before taking a bite of her burrito
"What? I found him kissing Kelly Greyham at the party" Zion shrugged
"And that time you hit Jack Wilner with the bat during baseball practice in 9th grade?" Lani smirked
"It was an accident" Zion shrugged innocently
"The coach believed it, i don't" Lani giggled
"Not even a little?" Zion asked
"Not even"
"Well what was I supposed to do? I caught him engaging in a intense game of tonsil tennis with Jennifer Wholesome" Zion defended
"Jennifer Whoresome, damn dis she give me grief" Lani said tossing her burrito down
"Yeah she tried it on with me like 7 times in a week" Zion said
"Wow" Lani laughed

As their laughter died down, Lani looked at Zion, his face was stuffed with food as he attempted to stuff more food into his mouth without chocking. She giggled to herself before breaking the silence

"Why do I always fall for the douche bags?" She asked Sadly

Zion sighed, he didn't know how to break the news to his best friend but he had to give her a reality check and fast

"I'm hungry" Zion said grabbing his boxers
"Wow, couldn't let the post sex atmosphere just sit for 5 minutes could you?" Lani giggled
"Well dicking you down made a niggah hungry" Zion explained
"Ayt, I'll be down in a sec" Lani smiled before Zion shot her a wink and walked out

Lani slipped out of bed and grabbed her undies and Zion's shirt. She stood in front of the mirror, throwing her hair in a bun before it dawned on her.

She just had sex with her best friend

But there was something about Zion that Leon didn't have, he cared more about Lani and how she felt rather then how he felt. And their previous moment of passion showed how much he cared. Leon was a one pump ass, but Zion cares more about Lani's pleasure then his own.

She blushed at the thought of their previous actions before walking downstairs

Setting her head on his back, Lani cuddled into Zion, wrapping her arms around his waist. She lay a kiss on his back making him giggle before turning around

"Be mine" Zion said looking into Lani's eyes

Lane smiled before kissing Zion passionately, a kiss that revealed all her bottles up feelings for Zion, a kiss that told him that she only dated all those duches to distract herself from her feelings for her best friend, but all it did was enhance the feelings

"Was that an answer enough?" Lani smirked
"I didn't quite get that" Zion smirked before connecting their lips once more
