Joli pulled her coat on before smiling at her reflection and hopping out of her apartment. As she breathed in the autumn air she smiled at the little squirrels playing with the nuts and the pile of leaves stacked near the tree

She bounced into her nearest coffee shop before walking up to the cashier

"Good morning" Joli chirped
"G'morning mam' how may I help you" the cashier smiled back
"A jumbo pumpkin spice latte with a ginger snap muffin please" Joli smiled
"Coming right up..." she trailed off
"Joli, with an "i"" Joli quirked before skipping to her seat

Ain't got no tears left to cry. So

The bell rang signaling the arrival of a customer causing Joli to look up from her phone, something she wishes she hadn't done. Her eyes met with her ex lovers. As his eyes filled with hope he began walking in her direction, not breaking contact

"Joli"
"Edwin"

"You look gorgeous" he blushed
"Thanks" Joli said awkwardly brushing her hair out of her face

Why was it so awkward?

Well because 2 weeks ago Joli had found out that during the Khalid tour, Edwin had miraculously seduced one of the dancers and banged her. He so happened to impregnate her and one day when Joli was planning to surprise her manz with a set from VS, her pregnant ass wobbled to the door and confessed it all.

Causing the girl to embarrassingly dress and walk out of Edwin's house and life.

"No look Edwin, I really thought you would never do that to me. Yet here we are. But I hold no grudges, so I whole heartedly forgive you" Joli smiled
"Joli I really am sorry" Edwin said
"I know, and I forgive you ed" She said
"Joli!" The cashier yelled
"Nice seeing you" She said patting his back
