"Excuse me!?" Ray yelled at her best friend
"You heard me" Aaliyah sighed
"No way I'm letting that- that thing in our home and let him play with Caden? No way" Ray yelled
"Ray, it's my baby and my choice" Aaliyah spat
"Oh, oh wow, I'll be out of your way then" Ray said
"Look, I'm just stressed" Aaliyah sighed
"It's fine, I'll be upstairs, shout if you need anything" Ray smiled

And on cue the doorbell rang. Aaliyah wiped her hands on her jeans before letting out a breath and opening the door. There stood Zion with a bag of McDonalds and some movies in his hand. He smiled when he saw Aaliyah

(For real, if you come to my house without food I will kick you out!)

"Hey, I got food and movies. Now lemme see Caden" Zion said pushing passed the girl
"Well hello to you two Kuwonu" Aaliyah chuckled
"Hey there little man" Zion said sitting down next to a giggling Caden
"Well what movie do we start with?" Zion asked
"Lion king!" Caden cheered
"Lion king it is" Aaliyah laughed

While the two snuggled up in the couch, they ate and watched multiple movies while laughing. To an outside person they would have looked like perfect family.

While they were watching the 3rd movie, Zion heard some small snores coming from a sleeping Caden. He smiled down at him before scooping him up and putting him in his bed and tucking him in.

"Well I guess I gotta go" Zion said scratching the back of his neck
"Listen Zion. Caden seems happy to have his dad back. So I don't wanna exclude you. How about we- we co-parent" Aaliyah said
"I'd like that" Zion smiled "but I don't know how Ray would deal with it"
"I'll deal with her don't worry" Aaliyah laughed
