Chapter five

Rye's P.O.V

I've just been at my house (Andy's) to have some food. Me and Andy's mum are on our way back to the hospital together now.

We walk up to his wards to see some random man sat at his bed side, "um excuse me, who are you?" I ask,
"I'm Blair, Andy's manager,"
"Manager?"
"Yes, he's trying to get into singing, we were trying to build a band, I only just found out about the accident today."
"Band?" I ask he nods, "I'm down if you want me," I offer.
"You're Rye aren't you?"
"Yes,"
"Andy told me about you a lot," he smiles "Can you sing?"
"Kind of..."
"Then sing for us." I turn to Andy's mum who just smiles.

"I am not a stranger to the dark..." I start singing quietly massaging Andy's hand in mine. Not looking at Blair or Andy's mum, just Andy. "Hide away, they say, cause we don't want your broken parts, I've learned to be ashamed of all my scars, run away, they say, no one'll love you as you are..."

"But I won't let them break me down to dust,I know that there's a place for us, for we are glorious..." I feel Andy's hand move inside of mine and I jump up immediately.

"He moved!" I shout, "He moved!"
Andy's mum runs up to me and hugs me "I think he knew it was you," she smiles gently.
"Your very talented Rye, I'm sure you'd be great in the band, all we have to wait for is Andy to wake up and agree."
"You think he'll definitely wake up?" I question,
"Well that was a good sign," Blair smiles "I'll go get the nurse to tell her what happened."

Well that visit actually went well, It sounds like I might be in a band with Andy when he wakes up and he moved! That's the first sign of life we've seen from him since the accident so at least that's one good thing.
