After I made it home, I pulled my phone out to message someone. Lisbeth's words from earlier were in my mind.

"I think I'll message Rin and ask him if he'd like to come." I muttered. I tapped on his contact and sent him a message.

Hey Rin, I have an extra ticket to that AR AI Idol's concert that's coming up. All my friends already have one, so I was wondering if you'd like to come with me? My friends have been bugging me lately about you, so if you have Ordinal Scale, maybe we can meet up for one of the boss raids sometime? I tapped on the send button and placed my phone down. I plugged in ALO and laid down, entering the Land of the Fairies.

"Man! That boss moved the same as the one from SAO. Wish I could say I moved the same. After all that running around, my whole body is sore." Klein complained, stretching his arms out. I shrugged.

"It wasn't that bad. Then again, I've been keeping myself active during the times I'm not in FullDive." I stated. Agil looked to us.

"I can't believe you guys took it down so quick." Kirito chuckled.

"For one thing, Asuna, (Y/N) and I have fought it before. Yeah, but still, it wasn't easy. You could tell the other players weren't used to working as a team." He stated and I nodded.

"But we also had the help of others back in SAO. I almost died to that boss, if it wasn't for Hikaru covering for me. Gosh, I still can't believe I made such a mess up back then..." I muttered pathetically.

"That's right, your guild did help us out, huh? I'm sure that boss was somewhat difficult to face again, huh?" Kirito asked. I sighed, but shook my head.

"No. Not really. I admit that when you fell down right in front of the boss, that some of the residual fear of it kicked in. Other than that, I treated it like any other boss from a video game." Asuna smiled.

"I'm glad you were able to get through it. On another hand, Kirito was exhausted by the end of it." Kirito gave her a deadpanned look and I laughed.

"That's only 'cause I'm not used to fighting in AR." Asuna and I shared looks and she gave him a playful smirk. Kirito's eyes widened as he remembered something.

"Oh, and you'll never guess who showed up to cheer us on. You know that girl, YUNA? She gave us a reward-" Leafa and Silica cut him off with shocked gasps.

"Huh? YUNA was at the boss fight with you guys?!" Leafa exclaimed.

"For real?!" Followed by Silica. The two girls came up on both sides of Kirito and began shaking him back and forth.

"What's she like?!" They both exclaimed at the same time. Klein crossed his arms, recalling the moment.

"That was pretty cool, seeing her live. But like a dumbass, I forgot to put my name down for one of those tickets." Agil looked over to the red-haired man.

"Too bad you missed out, man. When they were doing those Ordinal Scale sign-ups, I scored myself a pair." He stated. Sinon nodded as well.

"Yeah, I got a pair, too." She stated. Lisbeth looked over at me.

"Didn't you get a pair too, (Y/N)?" I nodded. Leafa and Klein both looked at the three of us in shock.

"You got two?!" They both exclaimed at the same time, like Leafa had with Silica. Klein shot up and grovelled to Agil. While Leafa came over to me.

"(Y/N)! I need to see YUNA!" I flushed in embarrassment.

"Um, well, I already asked someone to go with me. Lis gave me the idea to ask out my friend." Lisbeth coughed and looked over at me.

"You seriously asked him?! I was just kidding!" I coughed as well.

"What?! I texted him before I got on, dammit, Lis! You know what, I'm staying with it. Oh dear... I really hope he doesn't think I'm asking him out." I hid my face in my hands. Leafa left me alone and went to beg Sinon for her extra ticket.

"Yes, Leafa, I'll give you a ticket!" Leafa gasped in excitement. She hugged the archer Cait Sith before groaning in despair.

"Oh I just remembered, I have kendo boot camp next week." She sighed in despair. Sinon laughed and placed her hand comfortingly on her friend's shoulder. Silica fed Pina a treat.

"Is anyone as weirded out about this as I am? I mean, what's up with an old SAO boss showing up at an Ordinal Scale battle?" She asked. Lisbeth looked over at us.

"If it were a tie-in between games, wouldn't we have heard?" Asuna nodded.

"Mm-hm. But I don't think that's what's going on. Argus, the company that used to run SAO, was shut down a while ago." She stated.

"What about the other players at the event? Did they know the boss was from SAO, too?" I shook my head after thinking about it.

"I don't think so. I think we were the only ones to notice it." Asuna nodded as well.

"I'm pretty sure most of them didn't. No one knew its attack patterns, except us and maybe one or two others." She stated. She then looked over to Kirito for confirmation.

"Isn't that the impression you got?" Kirito looked up at her from his spot in the seat.

"Yeah. Most of them never saw it before. The thing is, if the old bosses from SAO keep showing up, it's only a matter of time before folks start catching on. And those battle events are where the points are at." He stated and Asuna nodded. Next to speak up about the matter was Agil.

"Sounds like someone's trying to bring old Aincrad to the real world. Damn." He droned off, likely in thought.

"So what? The Augma's nothing like the NerveGear, so no one's gonna die. It's safe." Sinon voiced her opinion. I couldn't help but feel like something might happen. As if fate was going to prove Sinon's words wrong. Kirito looked over to Yui on Asuna's shoulder.

"Anyway, Yui, see if anything's fishy." He told her.

"Okay Daddy!" She exclaimed. I brought my hand up to my chin in thought.

"I'll make sure to tell Hikaru to be on the lookout as well." I stated. Silica raised her hand.

"Heck, if I can hang out with YUNA, I'll totally go to a battle!" She exclaimed. Leafa raised her hand as well.

"Me, too!"

"I wish these events would happen at better times and at places that are easier to get to." Lisbeth complained. Klein smirked and pointed at himself.

"That's what us guys in Fuurinkazan are for! If any of you ladies need a ride, just pick up the phone and we'll pick you up!" Lisbeth frowned.

"Yeah, that's what worries us, Klein." Silica nodded.

"But! Oh, you suck." He bowed his head in disappointment as everyone laughed. I raised my hand.

"I always have an extra seat on the back of my bike, so if you ever want a ride, just call me." I stated. Lisbeth and Silica looked over at me.

"Yeah... but you ran away from us before we could!" I giggled sheepishly and rubbed the back of my head.

"Y-Yeah... but... Oh fine! I won't run next time!" I stated and now everyone was just laughing along. I really missed this feeling.

After everyone had logged off. I sat up and checked my phone. Rin had responded to me.

I'd love to, and I'm honored that your friends would like to meet me. Perhaps the next time there's a event I'll let you know if I'll be there. See you soon. I smiled and sighed in relief that he didn't think it was weird or anything of the sort. I checked the time and saw it was late.

"I need to get some sleep."

I still couldn't help but feel uneasy for the day that was to come.

Sorry for the shorter chapter, guys. It just felt like the best spot to end it. I'll probably have another out sometime later today or tomorrow!
