Chapter Seven (First ArFA-sys Part)

        I sighed in relief as we made it back into SBC Glocken for the last time.

"Man! That took forever. But now we're at level 20. It was a good idea to stand back and snipe the Elite Automaton for experience. We managed to get quite a bit of levels off of that guy. It was a plus that its bullets couldn't reach from where it stood." Hikaru nodded.

"Yes! I can't wait to see the surprised looks on everyone's faces when they see us tomorrow!" I laughed and nodded, agreeing with Hikaru.

"Yeah, I bet they weren't expecting us to jump in and start grinding so soon. I think we should be able to get that first part that we need for you now. Actually, do you think we would be able to take that dungeon on with just the two of us?" I asked. I want to do as much as I can to get Hikaru and I caught up. Hikaru tilted his head in thought.

"Hm... I think we might have a chance! If you continuously get the weak spot of the boss with your assault rifles, then use your original skill, then we should be able to take care of it. I could set my class to Support for you and take care of your health, Master." I smiled and nodded.

"Please do. Alright, if we can do this now, let's just get it over before I head off. Now, let's get more ammo and then head out one last time!" After restocking on ammo, we headed out for the Remnant Wasteland's control facility. Since I had found it earlier while we were grinding for levels, we can fast travel into the dungeon.

"Alright, Hikaru, keep your eyes peeled." He nodded, equipping his weapon and buffing the two of us up. Through the first door were two low-level enemies. I easily headshot them with my sniper rifle.

"Okay, I think we might be a little overleveled for this dungeon." I laughed.

"Those enemies were super weak! I guess we should have just came through here earlier! We could have gotten more exp out of these enemies." I nodded and sighed.

"Well, what's done is done. Let's continue." The next room was a larger one. There were three doors, the larger one was locked while the other two on the sides were open.

"Hm, I'm guessing we'll have to find the switch that opens the door right here. Let's go this way first." I pointed at the right side. Upon entering the room, two Lv. 6 Barrage Automatons appeared. With a quick snipe, the enemies was downed.

We went through the next door. A Lv. 6 SMG Drone and a Lv. 6 Sniper Automaton appeared. I dodged the bullets of the sniper, taking it out with my own before switching to assault rifles and taking the drone out. I noticed another Bullet Line aimed at me. I gasped and dodged, avoiding a Lv. 6 Barrage Automaton coming around the corner. It was dealt with just as quickly as the other two enemies were. Another Lv. 6 Barrage Automaton came at us, but Hikaru took care of it before it became an issue. Using the UFG, I vaulted up and killed the two Lv. 7 Assault Automatons that were waiting for us up there. Hikaru popped his head over the ladder to see that I had taken care of the rest of the enemies in the room.

"Great job Master! Let's hurry up and finish this half of the dungeon!" I nodded. I raced over to the next ladder up and climbed, not minding that Hikaru was climbing below me because I wasn't wearing a skirt. We continued through a long hallway. At the end was another door. When we got close enough, the door opened and three Lv. 6 Bomber Automatons came at us. One got to close before I could kill it and bent down, preparing to explode.

"Hikaru! Watch out!" I exclaimed. We dodged out the explosions radius and I took care of the other two. They exploded upon dieing. A drone was to my left that I dealt with quickly. Ahead where the bombers came from, were two more assault enemies. After I killed them, I noticed that the room below had been unlocked.
