"If we're going to face the Area Boss, we might want to bring an extra person. There's no telling how tough this boss could be." Kureha stated. I hummed in thought, resting my chin on my hand.

"Who to bring, though? We've got plenty of friends to choose from." A familiar voice then caught our attention.

"I could go with you." I gasped out in shock, not expecting someone to start speaking to us. I looked over at the newcomer and saw that it was Itsuki. Taipan wasn't with him, so he must be doing something for the squadron.

"Itsuki, I wasn't expecting you to just show up all of the sudden. Were you here the whole time?" I asked him. He chuckled and shook his head.

"No, I saw you three standing around after Zeliska had left. I figured you all were heading out, so I wanted to tag along. If that's alright with you, (Y/N)." I looked over at Kureha and Hikaru, who both nodded. Well, if it's alright with them...

"It's perfect, actually. We were just figuring out who to go ask to come with us and you fit the mark perfectly! With you, the boss should be a bit easier... hopefully." I sheepishly grinned at him.

"Well, if Itsuki's joining us, we should probably head out then." Kureha stated and I nodded, agreeing with her.

"Hikaru and I are all good on ammo, so I think it's time we head out to the dungeon." With that, the four of us set off for the last dungeon in the wasteland that we haven't been to yet.

After dealing with the various mech-type enemies in the dungeon, we found a safe spot to hang around before entering the boss room.

"Do either of you know what the boss is like?" I asked as we stood around. Kureha nodded.

"The boss is a robot like the rest of the enemies in this dungeon are. We actually faced something similar to it before, (Y/N). The enemy we had to face in that PvP tournament is kind of like this boss." I see...

"So, if it's the same, it should probably have the same weakness. So, whatever you do, always aim your shots at the face. It should do a lot of damage and we'll have this fight in the bag." I spoke without thinking, taking control of the team's tactics without noticing. Itsuki chuckled and Kureha was staring at me in... shock? I don't know how to describe the expression on her face.

"I can definitely see a leader in you, (Y/N)." Itsuki stated, causing my eyes to widen.

"Oh, really? I didn't realize that I was projecting out my thoughts, though. Force of habit, I guess." I stated. Kureha shook her head.

"I don't think so, as much as I hate to say it, I can see what your friends all saw in you. The reason why they wanted you to be their leader in that game." I looked away, not responding to Kureha's response.

"We should hurry up and get this over with." Hikaru nodded.

"I can't wait to see the next area!" With that, we entered the boss room. Almost instantly, the boss spawned. True to Kureha's word, it looked to be the same kind of enemy from when I first started playing GGO.

"Alright, Hikaru, watch everyone's health! If someone falls too low, give them some help!" Hikaru nodded.

"Right, master!" He exclaimed.

"Itsuki, I want you to mark the weak spot of the boss! Our bullet lines should automatically be drawn to it if you hit it just right! Kureha-" I was about to shout out orders for Kureha, but stopped myself. "Just do your best!" It was best I didn't order her around. She has a tendency to do her own thing anyway.
