Hey everyone! So just to let you all know, if anyone even reads this, that this is the 300 heart special for Quotev. As I mentioned in the previous special, the 300 heart special was going to be important story wise. So hence why I've gone ahead and labelled it a normal chapter.
If any of you remember a survey I had made awhile back, these are the results of said survey. There's only one "route" that has important story details and it's for the character who had the most votes from the survey. This character has been placed at the very end of all the routes. You can skip all the others if you wish to only read this one. The others are only another scenario of how things could have gone down. Like an alternate reality in a sense.
Anyways, thank you all so much for enjoying my story. It really means a lot to me that so many of you have stuck around and to the folks who are new here, welcome! I hope you enjoy the story like I have enjoyed writing it.
It's a new day in GGO. Hikaru was somewhere behind me as we walked through the fields together. It was only the two of us today, as everyone else were either doing something else or they weren't in the game today. Hikaru ran up to be beside me once more.
"Master! I heard some voices of enemy players! I think they're after you Master." I looked around, seeing as this nice stroll was likely going to turn into a gunfight.
"I'm not really seeing any cover either. Find somewhere to hide! I think I can hear them coming as well." Not finding a spot to hide behind in time, the enemy players saw us and we were quickly surrounded. We stood still. It was silent between both parties before someone spoke up. It was a male player who seemed to have authority over this squad. His weapons and armor seem to be high level and rare. I noticed that the others had similar items. Whoever these people are, they don't mess around.
"You're the Lucky Newbie, right? Managed to score yourself that ArFA-sys Type X right next to you. If you don't want to lose it, throw all your weapons down." I glared at the male, but did as he told. None of my weapons on hand were my rares, as I had those sitting in my chest at my home, and ammo stays on the player. Hikaru copied my actions.
"Good girl, now, send your ArFA-sys back to Glocken and keep yourself here. Unless you want us to kill it." My eyes widened. Hikaru looked at me and shook his head.
"Hikaru, it'll be fine. Just head back and don't tell anyone, right?" I looked at the commanding male for confirmation. I knew Hikaru would instantly warn someone the moment he gets back to Glocken. The leading male grabbed my arms, binding my hands together. The other members of this group grabbed my weapons as I was thrown over the shoulder of their leader. My eyes widen in realization once I realized what was really happening. I then remember the article I read a while back.
Players have been reporting a group of individuals who have been kidnapping other players in Gun Gale Online. Zaskar reports that it is impossible to truly kidnap someone while in game. The players can simply log out or fast travel back to spawn. However, it seems that these individuals have discovered a loophole. Various places on the maps of GGO are areas where contact to the outside world is limited. You are unable to fast travel out of the area until you leave, when inside, you are not able to send messages to anyone outside of the area and most importantly, you are unable to log out while in this area. Places like that are rare, but they do indeed exist. It appears this group of players discovered one and are using it to do evil deeds. This goes from kidnapping and ransoms to even less fortunate things that we can't describe here on this site. When you are out in the world of GGO, please be safe. You never know if these people could attack you when you least expect it.
