Forbidden love

Twelfth part

We got to the mall a few hours later. Arizona and Gabriella were dying to go to 'Forever 21' while me and Rose wanted a coffee. We split up and me and Rose found a Starbucks. I ordered an iced coffee with milk and Rose some sort of ice tea. We split a chocolate chunk muffin and sat there and ate.
"So, what is it that you like in Archie? Except the fact that he is extremely hot" I almost chocked on my drink.
"Don't call him hot"
"Why not?"
"It feels weird"
"So what, you don't think he is hot?"
"I do, just, you can't say it"
"Fine, what do you find attractive in him?"
"I don't know. His outside is just a bonus I guess. What matters is that he's so kind, and generous and he's always there for me"
"Except when you were having a miscarriage?" I glared at her "sorry, too soon?"
"Yes too soon"
"Sorry"
"Can I tell you something?"
"Sure, what?"
"Archie's dad is really sick and I can't visit him. But I would love to meet him and I would love to see that part of Archie"
"Why don't you tell him that?"
"Because when he told me he said he didn't want me to think he was weak, which I would never think"
"Can I ask you something?"
"Yeah"
"Do you think you two will last?"
"We made a deal. After this camp he will go to New-York to study and I will finish my last year. After that I will go to college in New-York and if we meet then we'll meet"
"And if you don't?"
"If we don't I will walk around for the rest of my life wondering what happened to him and I will have a hole in my heart where he is supposed to be"
"Wow, you really love him"
"I do, and it sucks"
"I think it sounds wonderful"
"Now, why don't we talk about something else"
"Like how much I'm gonna miss you when you go back home"
"It sucks that you and Gabriella live here and Arizona lives in LA, what if we'll never meet again"
"We can still talk, I have both of your numbers"
"I know, but it won't be the same thing"
"Well, we can all come visit each other. I'm dying to Riverdale, it seems like a town with a lot of drama"
"It's not that much drama, just some"
"Sure, from what I can tell there's a lot of drama"
"Maybe, but not around me. I only hang out with my bestfriend Betty and sometimes her boyfriend Jughead"
"His name is Jughead?"
"Yeah, but it's only his nickname"
"Wow, I'm sorry to be the one to tell you but Riverdale sounds like a messed up town" I chuckled "it is"

When we were done we started walking to 'Forever 21' to find Arizona and Gabriella. They were looking at some dress trying to decide which color was the prettiest. I wasn't really interested in buying anything since I barely had any money. I looked around to see if there were anywhere I could sit down. Outside of the store I saw Archie standing. He saw that I was looking at him and smiled at me. He started walking towards me but then he turned. He walked to the fitting rooms. I got a text just seconds later from him.
"First one to the left"
I grabbed a shirt next to me that wasn't too ugly.
"Guys, I'm gonna go try this one on. Be right back" they nodded at me and then continued talking about the dress. I walked to the fitting rooms and opened the first one to the left. Archie was standing there and he pulled me inside. He closed the door and pressed me against the wall. He kissed me hard and rough. I was taken back by the kiss and for a few seconds I felt like I was dreaming. He kissed me until neither one of us could barely breathe. He pulled away and looked into my eyes. He took his thumb and wiped something off my face.
"I'm sorry, you had some lipstick"
"Well, that is completely your fault"
"I know"
"I should go. I only brought one shirt so they're probably wondering where I am"
"Yeah, see you tonight?"
"Of course" right before I could leave he pulled me into a hug. He kissed me on my forehead "I love you Veronica Lodge"
"I love you too"
I walked out of the fitting room and made sure that my lipstick wasn't all smudged. I then walked over to them.
"Did you like the shirt?" Rose asked, pulling me out of my bubble.
"What?"
"The shirt, that you were gonna try. Did you like it?" she asked again.
"No, it wasn't really my style" she nodded at me.
"I want lunch, lets go find a restaurant" Gabriella said. We walked out of the store. I looked back to see if I could see Archie, but he wasn't there. We found this little sushi place and sat down to order. After lunch we all shopped some more. We were all eating dinner at the hotel so right before that we went back to the hotel. We all changed to some nicer clothes and walked down to the restaurant. Most of the group were already there, but we weren't last. I sat down next to Archie and Gabriella, Rose and Arizona sat down next to us. Next to Archie sat all of the leaders, so we couldn't really do anything but talk. We all ordered food and sat and ate while talking. The next day would be the last full day before flying home. Since pretty much none of us were going on the same plane it was our parents that had to book the plane tickets. Arizona's plane left thirty minutes before mine so I would say goodbye to her and then go to my gate. Gabriella and Rose had promised to say goodbye to us too before going home. Archie's plane on the other hand was leaving three hours before mine meaning I was going there then with Rose, who had her car, and then she would drive me back to the hotel. I really wasn't ready for this trip to be over.

After dinner me and Archie went back to our room. Both of us were exhausted so we turned on a movie that we watched until we both fell asleep.
